I'm tempted to transfer mine straight back now i know ING can deliver.

I transferred mine out before ING tookover, but we're in safe hands with ING i feel. Where is everyone else stashing their cash? Under the bed :rotfl:

I'm also seriously thinking of putting the few grand I'll have left once bills are paid back with ING - I have my mortgage with them so if they go belly up I should be able to set off one against the other. At least, that's the advice I got. Maybe I should ask ING ("incidentally, if you go bankrupt...") :p

heheheh, I spot yet another grammar pedant !
However, I do take minor issue with the unconventional contraction of "required" Hmmmmmm !
Rule: Do not use the contracted form of the auxiliary in formal writing
(yeah I know, nothing to do with what you wrote, just sounds like a good rule to follow)

    Hang on in there m8...
The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)

It’s seems that ING have kept their promise and sent the money out. It’s all down to the speed of the net and how quickly the receiving banks computers can process the data. Do forget it’s Friday, the busiest day of the week and our 160,000 transfers are on top of their normal day to day business. It’s happening so fast, I can’t keep up with this forum.

    ....Illegitimi non carborundum

My transfer (BACS 7th Oct) just hit my firstdirect account.

Must say, I have been impressed about the way that ING have treat customers.....useful updates and helpful phone staff.

I think that advice is correct, because i read the Halifax info and it sounds the same set up if they go to the wall.
