Don’t worry folks; if there’s going to be one person without their money, it’ll be me. You’re all safe.

    I voted for you.

Bit calmer now - Special thanks to you Luke - thought you did us proud in that telly interview.

Yeah, second that, our "unshaven one" did well, and AFAIK he's still waiting although since he is clearly cashless and can't afford even a razor, by now the beard length must surely be interfering with his typing.

(Sorry, Luke, no offence - just still trying to keep a small degree of levity in all the she it that's going on)
The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)

Interestingly I just tried to transfer the money back OUT of my Lloyds TSB account into one that pays a bit more than 0.1% interest or whatever LTSB pay on current accounts, and it said that I had exceeded the max transaction amount of £10,000. So I need to move it in bits now. Hopefully that won't take two weeks for each amount!
  • Without doubt, Luke is the STAR in many ways on this thread over the last 2 weeks

  • UPDATE: FRIDAY 17TH OCTOBER, 14.45PM

    PAYMENT UPDATE
We continue to work through the backlog of payments and can confirm the majority of payments will be made by close of business today. Depending on the destination bank account, these payments will be credited at differing times throughout the day. A small number of manual payment instructions will take longer to process.
Thanks for your continued patience. We will continue to update you, via this page, about interest adjustments and refund of CHAPS fees, where applicable.

    PAYMENT UPDATE
As we work through the backlog of payments, we are receiving a number of calls from customers today who have confirmed that they are now in receipt of payments and would like to know more about the interest adjustments and refund of CHAPS fees, where applicable.
Our first priority remains to make all outstanding payments as quickly as we can. Once this has been completed, we will update you again, via this page, regarding the process and time frame for interest adjustments and refund of CHAPS fees, where applicable.
Thank you for your continued patience.

In that case it'll probably be just the three of us sitting on this thread on Monday going :
    "Have you got yours yet?"
    "No...You?"
    "No."

and so on and so forth...
