  • Still nothing in A&L. I though the 'refund CHAPS payments, where applicable' referred to people who had been charged twice for CHAPS (once from the initiating end, and again in the amount received in the linked account).
    Could be wrong. They SHOULD refund the £20. No reason they should line their pockets for a service they didn't provide!

    Happy for the BACS people. Glad some of us can sleep tonight!

    Got my BACS xfer from Tuesday 7th. It appeared as a CHAPS I think.

    I had been sitting there pressing F5 every few minutes but only when I logged off and on again did the money appear (it wasn't a timing thing, I actually had to log off and on again - I had 2 browser sessions).

    RBS Virgin One account.

    PHEW.

    Never again. Whatever that means.
  • Both BACS transfers (made7/10 and 8/10) now receivd into LTSB act.

    Request for £35000 on 7/10 by BACS Finally got as far as my account today at 2.00pm. ............ I wonder should I send it back to my KE (ING) account ?... What interest rate do they give?
