Been checking my account and nothing as yet, my chaps transfer date is 7/10/08 at 9.15am. Lloyds tell me that 5pm is their cut off for receiving chaps payments.

Glad to see people are getting their money today, just hope mine comes through too.

It makes me mad that they (lloyds) seem to be unable to say the same thing as I've just been told that 3.30 pm is their cut off...!

Yep, that's another of my pet hates, ONS (Office of National Statistics). Load of Borax. (that, I know is a mineral, namely Sodium Borate, but it sounds better than, and will likely get past, the swear-word filter)

I HAVE RECEIVED MY MONEY PLUS INTEREST IN HSBC!!!!

IT WAS A BACS PAYMENT THAT I MADE FIRST THING ON 8 OCT 2008.

IT DOESN'T SAY WHETHER IT CAME THROUGH AS CHAPS OR BACS.

Have my fingers crossed for everyone. Right now though I feel like crying with relief.

Nationwide told me they must have theirs from ING by 1pm, but we could still receive them in our accounts after Nationwide processing up until 5pm.

It appeared about 20 minutes ago. I have been checking my account all morning and nearly broken the mouse I have clicked refresh so many times on the HSBC website.

Yeeesssss! Mine's there too. At last. Transfer requested 7/10 evening by BACS. Just arrived by CHAPS in my HSBC account. So relieved.

Hi there,

I have just received my (BACS) requested transfer initiated on Oct 7th pm, deducted from KE on Oct 8th. I believe it has been sent via CHAPS as First Direct informed me this morning that no BACS were showing up for today.

Amount c£5k
