So.... since the payments this morning, it would appear that none of us are getting paid.
Is now a good time to remind everyone of the ING get out of jail card:
"There are a very small number of manual payment instructions which are still being processed and which will take slightly longer."
Looking at this forum I'd say the very small number are either all here on this forum or the very small number is actually as realistic as the current inflation figure of 5.2%0 -
Just spoke to Lloyds Phone Bank Express - went thro' to their clearing dept - Nothing pending for today and if it was a CHAPS payment - they have said that it would have to be received by 3.30 pm to show on my account. they suggested ringing ING!

Any person waiting for BACS still asked/been told their bank can/ can't see it in the system for Monday?
Lloyds or HSBC customer perhaps as your banks seem to have some visability of future BCS payments.
I was told that this morning. When I rang later, they said it is still a possibility to come thru today however, slowly but surely losing faith.0 -

Honestly, banks are starting to get on my nerves - sooner or later they are going end up in the top 3 of my things to dislike. (FYI my top 3 is currently insurance companies, train companies and power-trip nightclub bouncers.)
Can we put banks into Room 101 when we get our money back?0 -
If you have online banking then What You See is What They See.
It is pointless calling your bank to see if there are pending transactions. If you do then they will probably try to sell you their savings accounts or house Insurance0 -

I get that all the time with my memorable word. If it ever asks for character 1, it always says I have got it wrong! Grrr. Maybe I entered it in wrong in the first place :think:0 -

Been checking my account and nothing as yet, my chaps transfer date is 7/10/08. Lloyds tell me that 5pm is their cut off for receiving chaps payments.
Glad to see people are getting their money today, just hope mine comes through too.
Same with me Tues 7/10 Lloyds and nothing0 -

In most cases the first letter should be a capital, even if you didn't enter it as one in the sign up process.
Secondly the memorable date often needs to be entered in reverse, year, month, day, not day, month year.
No LTSB CHAPS from 7-10 here either0 -
Come along now CHAPS...0
