Yes, that may be, but I can't afford to wait for some FSA guarantee to cough up....I need it by close of play today , or I've some serious trouble ahead..which is why I transferred it 10 DAYS AGO!!!!Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -

There's diffrent ways of passing the time.
You've settled on wine and pills, I'm trying a different approach.
By the way, I have almost my life's worth with Kaupting and Icesave.0 -

Quite the opposite, if you read the postings I've been putting on over the past 2 weeks, you'll see my attitude has been exactly the same all the way through.
If you want to get into a slagging match..... you're wasting your time! If you want to try stir up trouble, fire away.... seems you've been doing that for a while anyway.0 -
Listening to Martin - what he's saying is absolutely right - savings with FSCS guaranteed banks are guaranteed - (OK, I appreciate there are delays right now - but if we really had to resort to FSCS sorting folks out on an individual basis by snail mail we all be waiting MONTHS not days)... but back to my point - the ONE THING gov.uk (in fact all govs) want is HARD CASH. Savings are real money. They will do "whatever it takes" to protect peoples 'real' money - money to be used, spent, making the world revolve, even in recession. Unless we experience total financial meltdown (and the resultant anarchy on the streets), we will *all get our money back*The 'Mad' refers to my state of mind, not my degree of anger.... (still crazy after all these years)0

30k transferred on the 7th by Bacs. Being paranoid now, I'm wondering whether they're transferring all the smaller amounts first so there's only a small group of people still complaining - but they're the ones missing the most money?? Anyone comment on whether they've received a payment of £30k plus yet?
not received my £35k yet0 -

Just ignore, if you can. I really do hope that all this money stuff gets sorted very, very soon. It seems to bring out the worst in some people, maybe otherwise quite nice, relaxed people.
Me, I prefer the kinder sort of humour to that which seems to want to put the wind up people.0 -
Cant see what difference it makes how many BACS payments are trying to go through today. Think about it, every Monday MILLIONS of Child Benefit payments arrive in accounts via BACS without any problems due to volume. Still like to hear if any Halifax customers have received anything today
Transferred by chaps £20,000 last Wed.Receiving bank is halifax but nothing there yet.Just checked. In fact have been following this thread closely and no one has reported getting money back into their Halifax account at all! So yet another worrying day tho i will ring ING up if nothing showing at 4.00pm.0 -

I did wonder about getting some sort of claim in once this is all over - I lost out on buying a property I had been waiting on for months at auction earlier this week. The stress has definately affected my health (mental + physical) for sure. On the other hand maybe forgetting about the whole thing would be best.0 -

I did. 34,700 (I already posted 1st thing this morning). I used BACS on 7th Oct 8am and it arrived into Lloyds this morning. Got everything crossed for you all and I still have 30ishK in ICESAVE.0
