Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

Just had a call from a very nice lady at Barclays, she told me that any BACS payment into my account would have shown first thing this morning, and that the only likelyhood of receiving any money today would be by CHAPS up until 5pm tonight.

I am the same, transferred part of the money on Tuesday 7th, BACS, and nothing yet. Now, unless they are going to do CHAPS, as I am with Nationwide, I don't have much hope of seeing my money before next week....

Yeah, saw the same post earlier and at the time thought it was funny - because it was a day too early - but now I'm having problems deciding wheheter (I'll say that again - "whether") 2:00pm GMT is 1:00pm or 3:00 pm BST (which is of course where we are, before the clock changes later this month and the gloomy cloud of financial darkness envelopes us all)

My money from KE arrived in my account today. Did a BACS transfer on evening of Monday 6th Oct. Wee.

Cant see what difference it makes how many BACS payments are trying to go through today. Think about it, every Monday MILLIONS of Child Benefit payments arrive in accounts via BACS without any problems due to volume. Still like to hear if any Halifax customers have received anything today
