BACS - paid once a day (ie early morning or start of buisiness day)
CHAPS - won't be seen until lunchtime to 14:00'ish, as it will be kicked off manually from ING this morning.

These are exceptional circumstances and the rules have been temporarily thrown out of the window. We are also right in the middle of a major change in the way transfers happen. Transfers will happen within 24 hours with some banks, which have changed, some haven’t. Sit tight and worry less. Money is getting through.

Nothin here yet - but my original "transfer" was by CHAPS (wed) so maybe later?

If you haven't received your money yet, please try not to panic .
ING promised the money would get into your accounts by END OF BUSINESS on 17th October.
I expect that means it will be there by 5pm.

All transfers are being done by CHAPS, and they have over 26,000 to do.

Good luck to those still waiting, to get their money soon.

Susan, I too transferred two lots on the 7th and 8th. Both transfers have hit my account this morning so be confident yours shall appear- unless you tried multiple attempts. Hang in there, the sand man cometh...

No sign of receipt of 2 payments requested on 7/10 by BACS in Halifax today. Know that sometimes former building societies are a bit slower in clearing funds in so will keep checking. On my KE account it shows the 2 amounts went out leaving a small balance but when I go to the transfer screen it shows the same balance but the "available balance" underneath it is still including one of the supposedly transferred amounts. Has anyone else noticed the same? Also concerned about the wording of ING statement on Panorama last night .... that all accounts would be transferred by Friday not all monies transferred to linked accounts. Doesnt that just suggest that all KE accounts should complete moving to ING today??

Mine was a CHAPS transfer.
Can’t see the point of phoning someone, just to get a stock answer from a sheet of paper. Reading this forum gives me all the answers. I feel pretty confident it will arrive today. 100% more than I did 2 days ago.

As a lurker on this thread since the start, I thought I should let everyone know I found out my money is coming in today. Not by checking my account though. Yesterday at 4pm my phone rang - "Hello, is this a-ms? This is your bank manager, I see you have a rather large deposit coming in tomorrow, do you have plans for it?" Err - yes and they are not with Lloyds! I think it'll be going straight back to ING unless I can find a better interest rate.

Fingers crossed for all those still waiting for their cash, I really hope it comes through today, especially as I'll be able to stop checking the boards constantly and do some work!

BTW, It was by BACS on the evening of Tuedsay 7th.

I requested a BACS transfer of £37 on Saturday 4th oct, queued for action until 6th October and arrived in my account this morning.

I requested a BACS transfer of £500 on Wednesday 8th and it also arrived in my account this morning.

My transfers are not showing in my linked account (cahoot) and was done on evening of 7th but is showing as 8th on my accounts. I'm not panicing so much now as payments are obviously being made but wondered whether some banks are maybe slower to process then others and that may be why some are showing and some not? Prob not but I just noticed a couple of other mention money transfered to Abbey not showing and mine to cahoot insn't , maybe Abbey are taking longer to process?
