Whitesatin - have you tried saynoto0870 - they may have a freephone number for HSBC, or at least a regional one (which can work out free if you're on the right deal)

I have learnt some painful lessons here;

(i) Never invest in overseas "internet" only banks
(ii) Never laugh at people who keep cash in a tin under their bed. They were probably investing in overseas banks before we were born.

Hopefully nothing lost, but some valuable lessons learnt.

WAS JUST ON PHONE TO KE/ING

Aparently the line is now all transactions will be sorted by end of the day Friday. I wont hold my breath but chap seemed confident.

BUT

i have just tried to log in to KE and there is now NO login page so I dont even have an account there. Am i missing something.?!?

HSBC told me that the transfers show up at intervals throughout the day..

I had the email through. It went to the email address I opened the account with. Came through last night/yesterday afternoon. Said the same as was on the website.

The HSBC number is 01226 261010 - useful for using up free minutes on the mobile, or using a landline on a free package after 6pm. They are open until 10pm every evening.

I received a welcome email on sunday and the update email re:payments arriving on Friday yesterday evening - waiting for my BACS payment from 7 October - hopefully will arrive Friday or early next week

Yes, it's there if you go to original page - and look up the top above all the ING stuff - the login button is still there and wuill take you to the original login screen
