Or it could mean that all the funds are being sent through today and they will be received friday..
Won't know for sure until the official statement appears on the website0 -
Good news if it's true. Friday deadlines always worry me though....0

I think he meant that the funds would actually be in our accounts on Friday, not that they're sending them on Friday.

Have just received a phone call from very nice gentleman from ING following an email I sent. GOOD NEWS!! They have just received an email confirming that all of the transaction requests should be processed on Friday 17 October. The only ones that may take a little longer than that are those who tried to make the transaction twice. Hope this helps!! They'll be putting this on their website.
Me too. Just spoke to Karl from ING. He said there had been an announcement within ING in the last 20mins saying that all customers would have their transfers by close of business Friday 17th. There is to be something posted on their website shortly.
I asked if there was the possibility that it would come before this and he said "Yes - maybe". We'll see...
I dont know what to think...I am almost scared to believe it. This business has really got me down over the last few days. Feel all aspects of my life have been affected work, family etc0 -

Does anyone know this bank's credit rating? We are constantly reminded by the media that banks are'nt lending money to each other. Therefore I would like to know if another bank will lend this bank the money to pay us......even when LIBOR comes down?
Are you deliberately trying to wind people up? LIBOR has got f**k all to do with it. THE GOVERNMENT HAS FUNDED THE ING BAIL OUT OF KE. They DO NOT need a loan from another bank to cover these deposits. Are you sure it's just the one bottle of claret you have finished?0 -
Latest Update on Website
PAYMENT UPDATE
We have been working hard to restore normal service for Kaupthing Edge customers and resolve the issues around delayed payments.
In addition to the payments already made, we are now able to confirm that all payments will arrive in their destination bank account by close of business Friday 17 October. There are a very small number of manual payment instructions which are still being processed and which will take slightly longer.
Once again we apologise for the inconvenience and distress this delay has caused. It has taken us longer to resolve the issues at Kaupthing Edge than we expected due to the significant disruption caused when the business was taken into administration. Understandably, customers have been asking for clarification on when this issue was going to be resolved, but this is the first time we have been in the position to give firm assurances.
Thank you for your patience and we can confirm that customers will not lose interest as a result of this delay.0 -

I have everything crossed.
I am going to miss this thread when it's all over though.0 -
