Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

Has anyone managed to get an answer to the question re. the CHAPS fee being refunded?
I rang KE yesterday evening and was told they are migrating the system from KE to ING hence the delays! In the IT world everyone knows this is not a quick operation! The lady told me that I could claim back the CHAPS fee by giving her the account number and she would pass it on to ING who would in turn credit the CHAPS fee! I hope this helps Tabsy and everyone!CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/CBACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/CCHAPS fee refunded 29/10I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!0 -

Hmmm.you sure you don't still work for them? You seem very pro KE/Ing ?
And you've so far received 2 calls from KE?? Why are they calling you out of all the thousands of worried KE savers?
Yet I wrote to their (Ing's) CEO yesterday, which has been read, but I've not received a call/mail from them?
By the way, Ing's processing centre is in Reading.......

What I'd like to know is the Treasury can transfer 2.5 billion pound from 100000's of customers in about an hour, yet a simple transaction of a few hundred pounds (in my case) is taken over a week and is still not resolved.0

They were returning MY calls!0 -
Just had a chat with Rachel (ING Customer Relations), she admitted that payments hadn't been made to people yesterday but did not know why... apparently even she cant get to speak to the processing team...
She was very sympathetic and vowed to look into why the transfers had ceased and when they will start again. She will call me back today with news - will post something on if that happens...
I have lost out on buying a property I’ve been saving for in an auction yesterday because of this. It's too much now and is really affecting my happiness and family’s future. I am very upset!0 -
I see no change, still no CHAPS from the 7-10. That's a week now. I see that the BBC Panorama programme are putting together a schedule for Thursday 16th, and are asking for questions, I suggest we all contact them regarding our missing money, link is here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/7667716.stm0

Since former KE savings are now protected by Dutch savers guarantee, isn't it time to assume that ING has defaulted on their responsibilities and request a compensation directly from Dutch financial regulators (with a copy to ING?)
There is nothing to be gained by pestering telephone girls.0 -
Administrators were appointed on the 8 October. We know some customers have received their money last Friday. We understand that the customers actioned their withdrawals on the 5 and 6 October. I requested mine on the 7 October. It would appear then that money is being paid out prior to the Administrators appoitment. Based on that I am confident it should not be too much longer before my money is received.
I still have money with KE in a fixed rate account and have no intention of withdrawing it.
Thats not true I initiated my payment on the 5th and I still don't have my money0 -
It's exactly a week now since I asked for the money by BACS.
My KE has shown a nil balance since then.
This is unacceptable. I wouldn't mind if they'd bounced the money back into my KE account at least I'd know it was still there.
I hope ING are doing their best (I'm sure they are) but it doesn't really help people when people who transfered money a week yesterday have got their money, and now no money is being returned to any1....
I'm trying to remain calm about the situation and I'm sure we'll get the money... but I won't rest until I have the money secured.
Cheers, Arwel0 -

no cos they have not defaulted they are able to pay claims against them. They are just trying to get KE accounts on their own systems.0
