BACS payment made on friday 3rd has appeared in my HSBC account.
Thanks everyone for support and thanks ING for bailing us out.
  • Think the payment system must definately be running slow now, so now there might be a delay because of the influx of transactions.
  • It's not the money that attracts but the celebrity status and fame nomorekids now has.

:T BACS withdrawals requested over Sat/Sun have arrived as "CHAPS"payment in Halifax account!
Also withdrew remaining £100 on Tuesday am.....not through,so presumably the early ones are being dealt with first.I'm sure the rest will be ok under ING wing since take-over.......there's no way they will want to risk losing any more potential customers.Yes,we have to realise the situation could have been much worse had ING not stepped in,but nothing surely can excuse the appalling lack of coherent communication on this whole sorry saga.To leave people in limbo as we all have been is totally unacceptable, and almost certainly caused far more damage to their credibility than they anticipated. So much confusion
has been created by the constant stream of conflicting information.....had the situation been explained properly from the outset, they might not have alienated tens of thousands of would-be customers and prompted such widespread panic.
I sincerely believe it is now under control and hopefully everyone will receive their money sooner rather than later. It has been an extremely harrowing experience that with a little more foresight from top level could so easily have been avoided through proper communcation.
Did see the TV slots.....both did superbly,as a broadcaster myself,I know how tricky those situations can be.You both have our appreciation and thanks for your stirling efforts on our behalf!!!!

Hopefully we can soon close this thread and go and count our money. Looks as though they are repaying in sequence, those who bailed out first getting paid first. My transfer was on the morning of the 7th but now confident that it will arrive in a day or two, so quite relaxed.
Thanks to the person who started the post and those who contributed, a lot of good decent people out there. Could of done without other people starting new threads on exactly the same subject, being to lazy to join in, and those with very negative posts, but there you go!
Just waiting now for the FSCS announcement on Icesave repayments and resolve to be much more careful in the future.
