I am new here and am too lazy to read the whole of the section (and busy!!) so apolgies but when did exactly was it publicised that KE were in imminent trouble. I just knew Icesave was in trouble and withdrew last Friday but I had not heard they were actually going bust until I saw on Wed that ING had acquired them.

APOLOGY - wrong guy, its been a long week. Very sorry for the false accusation. Someone else can probably answer your question though
  • has anybody received payments in excess of £50k??

  • thanks folks, needed to hear that it was actually worthwhile, the report will be on ch 4 at 7 too albeit a little late now that people are getting their money.

Back to the drudge of getting the kids from school
If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids ;)
  • So pleased for everyone....has anyone received a transfer done on Tuesday 7th yet ? Or do you reckon they'll go through on Monday ?

I talked loads all about you all and your plight particularly about worrier who was losing £100 a day interest and they didn't use the footage.

Can Financial Novice PM me, make my husband jealous. LOL
Thanks for that, I have just come in and watched you on TV - you got the point across and looked as anxious and worried as we all are. Thanks for everything you have done for us all - didn't they pay your expenses?? We should all club together when we get our money back - have you read that, I automatically typed WHEN, not IF - must be thinking more positively.

WHEN we get the money in our linked account I wonder if I will have the energy to claim back the lost interest - think I will need to sleep for a week before I muster the energy to fight on.

Thanks again and I hope and think I speak on behalf of all us newbie forum members who have found this thread so so helpful.
