There's nothing gets people worked up like the words 'council' and 'houses' in the same sentence."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0 -
Phantasm IS MY SISTER! why is that so hard to comprehend? in fact if you must know she is actually my identical twin sister - never mind, you probably wont believe that, but at least we know the truth.
'TotallySkint' sorry you weren't included in her message so consider yourself included from me.
Oh and just because Im not as [FONT="]articulate as some of you are or I have misspelt a few words does not make me a chav.
Im going to see if I can close this thread down now because like a previous post said, no one is going to change their views now. and 'Avinabacca' cant let it lye and is sat there watching, waiting to pounce on everything I say, so dont want to give her the satisfaction.
And thanks again to those who gave advice, as I said I will be taking it on.:p

More lies???
Can see why you'd want to close the thread down, though - I'd be embarrassed if I'd consistently spouted such nonsense......Oh come on, don't be silly.
It's the internet - it's not real!0 -
Grimbo, get it deleted, its just fuel for people with too much time on their hands and too little brains in their heads ....................... Did you make that appointment at the CAB?

Hi Hethmar, yes I have called them a couple times today but their line has been busy. I tried again 15 mins ago but they are now closed for the weekend. I will deffo call them again on monday morning and make an appointment to speak with someone there face to face.
Have a great weekend!:beer:0 -

Also I was reading on of your posts on another thread and you say how you come from a titled family, who had butlers and a house full of heirlooms, so you would never understand how the real world works.
You have the absolute audacity to call other people bullies when you've gone out of your way to post responses to my posts to other people in totally unrelated threads calling me a liar?
The posting you are referring to is in this thread about what defines class. My Mother, as I said in that thread, came from a titled family and grew up with a nanny, went to private school and finishing school. I went to state school (the local infants/primary/comp) and finishing school for a year. My Father (who left us when I was a few months old), grew up in a slum and left school at 14 to swill out bins at the back of Woolies and he's now a 'self made' man.
From that you deduce that I'm a liar because I said I grew up in poverty.
Welcome to another one of your crashingly bad generalisations! Someone's from a titled background so they must be loaded right? WRONG kiddo.
You know what? I was going to give you the potted history of my background and how it was that I came to spend half my childhood with my Mum in a cottage with no bathroom etc etc..but I realised that I have no reason to explain or justify myself to you and I really couldn't give a flying whatsit if you think I'm a liar or not.
I am, to be frank, absolutely mystified why you've chosen to defame and abuse me here and on other MSE threads which have nothing to do with you or the problem you came here with. I offered you practical advice and links to information on home learning and a household budgeting plan which I follow myself so you can better your own circumstances just as I have done.
You've proved again and again that you hold some pretty nasty assumptions about sections of society and this is just another one of those occasions where your prejudices have risen to the surface.“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

They're full of hatchet-faced, chain-smoking 20s-going-on-50 women with 'croydon facelifts' and their ratty looking spawn who seem to spend most of their time mooching round in shellsuits smashing up anything in reach, threatening anyone who looks sideways at them and trying to wipe themselves out (usually unsuccessfully..more's the pity) by driving unroadworthy bits of tat with large mufflers and garish body kits at massive speed.
You're the one who generalises people - One minute you have a go at grimbo for slating immigrants (even though she didn't actually slate them she just mentioned that immigrants get given more priority on council house waiting lists) then you go an say the above - you are a complete snob:mad:
so basically you are trying to get sympathy from us because your mum bought a house in the cotswolds and sold it on and made a mint - you poor unfortunate soul0 -

lol have you actually beento Flint or Rhyl? You do know it's one of the most deprived areas in the UK with one of the highest rates of early death through chronic illness..right? Nobody hangs round the estates in those areas unless they live there and that's not being a snob - that's having a very healthy sense of self-preservation. If you knew anything about the area you'd know it's where the local LA often rehouse people who were problems elsewhere in their domain.so basically you are trying to get sympathy from us because your mum bought a house in the cotswolds and sold it on and made a mint - you poor unfortunate soul
Errrm... could you point out to me anywhere where I've asked for sympathy? I don't need any thank you! I have a good job, a loving hubby, cute dogs, a nice little cottage I work hard to pay for and a beach on my doorstep for free entertainment.
Could you also point out where I said my Mother sold my childhood home "for a mint"? Again, you're making assumptions aren't you... the Cotswolds in the 1970s was not the haven of second homers and merchant bankers it is now you know. My childhood home sold for the princely sum of £4,000 :rotfl:
Any other personal attacks you'd like to launch or have you and your 'sister' quite done now?“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Seems grimbo and her '''''' identical twin sister'''''' have both been stalking you on this forum and reading the same posts of yours in the other section ... maybe with the same spelling errors and both having a habit of looking for dirt on others who dont agree with them could be the first scientific proof that identintical twins are connected on another level ... i mean what are the chances of that happening other wise ... im sure after saying she wont lie to the council shes not going to lie about this to
Just be glad you didnt post in another thread that you were blind or something like that .... she'd(they'd:rotfl:) probably have said well how can a blind person read a forum (and moaned you got priority over them for sight treatment even if she has 20/20 vision lol)
Im still a bit surprised this was her identical twin sisters first comment defending her sister when they had been chatting on the phone about it

I don`t get it. The op is young and so is her oh. So what is wrong with working at 2 jobs and scrimping and saving, like we did
Ah, I realise that ethics have changed today and many people want things handed to them on a plate, paid for of course by tax payers, some of whom are working at 2 jobs in order to better themselves
Get real grimbo and take responsibility instead of whinging0
