Now - forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't obtaining goods or services by dishonest means more commonly known as fraud?

......oh, and I saw "an immigrant in the same situation" had come on here and said the same things as the OP, I'd call them on it too. Because they'd be a criminal as well!

I think some of you are being extremly rude to me? You dont know me, how dare you call me a bad parent or thick or lazy. I dont think my question warrants the amont of anger ive had directed at me. Bloody hell there are far worse things to get mad about!
I am obviously the devils spawn for wanting a better life for my family. What an evil person I am to have the audacity to think about telling a lie.
Lets hope some of you dont loose your homes, then go to the council asking for their help to be told you stand no chance whatsoever, lets hope you dont consider lying :eek:to get anywhere. No of course you wouldnt because you are so perfect.:T

well didnt the jews begin in rome area if being technically and sarccy? either way your not a proper brit and by going by what youve said what rights should have that are different from another person not born in this country? and if they have kids here that puts there kids as equal as you (my knowledge is a bit limited where the religion started if honest but the point is still your not actually a brit - were all immigrants)

well if there lives werent at risk and there over here with business paying rates etc why are you even mentioning them? (though glad to know even if its not coming across like it you dont have a problem with them)

If you have a problem with the criminal element you shouldnt tar all the people from that country with the same brush ... you never know people in portugal might think all brits are like the stag weekenders that go over there and think were all like that (would be ironic if the people that own the restaurants you mentioned in east anglia were from the areas where the brits on the weekends terrorised and destroyed things whilst partying - and nope i dont think either is right to do what they did/do)

lmao next you will be saying its okay to kill one person but not a million? Just how many lies would you tell to get a council place?... this way the next person that needs to lie can no how many is right. anything you say will have to be repeated to them and read by more than one person

If I lose my job next month when the company I work for are bought out. I could then lose my home if I don't beg my family to pay my mortgage while I'm out of work. I won't get a council home either so will have to privately rent or stay with family.
My intention will be to find any job that will allow me to earn money to pay for my family. There are a lot of MacDonalds in London so I could be lucky to find a job quickly.

That just sums you up all over then doesn't it...

What your note to yourself should be (if you want to post on ANY forum site) is how can I do so in the correct manner. What your note should also include is how can I become a person with high standards and good morals. Maybe you need to go back to your parents and ask them why they never taught them to you? And because of your lack of morals I do think you are a bad Mum because I now can see that you also will not teach your child right from wrong. ASBO child on it's way.:eek:

I normally frequent the giol board (and if you check my post history you will see 99% of my posts are the total opposite of what ive posted here - says more about this thread than me) so please dont start tarring everyone on this board with the same brush. Another post in this section caught my eye and then i read this debacle - Im guessing a lot of the regulars on this board are here because they are in serious need etc or can help people

and im no dogooder ... i wish i was, but i can but keep trying as a little bit of good can go a long way

Fingers crossed you can get your housing situ/whatever sorted with out having to resort to lying and you never know i might see you on the giol board when you realise that you can help yourself and extramoney is always a good thing

Did you honestly expect people to be loaded with sympathy and fast with help? Here's the facts (taken from your own postings):

1. You say you want to improve your family's lifestyle and there are some obvious things you could do based on what you've said:

• Budget your food better (you could easily survive on £20 a week rather than £50 for instance)
• Go back to work full-time, instead of part-time.
• Look around for cheaper rented accommodation or renegotiate your current rent based on the general downturn in prices.
• Upskill for a better job; there are many free or heavily subsidised courses!
• Pull in extra income by doing anything from a home business to a second job.

Instead of any of these, your answer is to try and get a council house because you feel you 'deserve it'.

2. You evidence your financial distress by stating that after all your bills are food are paid for you have £50 a month left over. This is not financial distress, you're in the black at the end of the month! Many people are left either with nothing, or in debt at the end of a month.

3. You proprose breaking the law to get the council house you feel you deserve by misrepresenting your situationto your local council and you justify that course of action with wide-ranging comments about moving old ladies out of their long-term homes and 'immigrants'

You get out of this life what you put in - if you and your b/f are doing low-skilled, low-paid jobs then you can't expect to have the same lifestyle as someone who's put time and effort into studying/training to increase their skills or qualifications to get a better paid job.
