Just go to your local library and tear out the coupon.
That is, if someone else hasn't beaten you to it!

No, NO and NO thank you very much.
Library papers are kept for weeks and are available for reference/referral by the public and staff alike. This is NOT fair play if you are wanting to read something - and find the article missing as there was a coupon on the other side !!
For heavens sake, a coffee worth up to £3.60, for 80p, or cheaper ( use a MOC;)), and some people still are not happy.
Play the game chaps. Buy your own copy, collect discarded papers off the train, tube and bus. Collect them from the staff room at the end of the day, but please leave the library copies alone

Right, well I've got my 30p Guardian now I'm off to get the largest, most expensive coffee I can from Starbucks :cheesy:

Where do I get a Guardian for 30p or any other newspaper at a discount? I live in greater London.
I had a 'Caramel Macchiato' 20 oz normally costing £3.30
It tasted very nice. I shan't go into detail about how I got the coupon out of respect to post #63. Are you a librarian by any chance Stoopid?

The union shop near any uni should sell the guardian for that price and you don't need to be a student
  • Am I the most useless moneysaver in the world?! I bought the paper then didn't even make it out for lunch so have brought the coupon home unused:o ....oh well, at least I had something to read on the bus!

    BRILLIANT deal!

i used it today. i gave it to the chick and she said 'what do u want?' i got a large skinny caramel latte.

anyone that was told it was only applicable to small shoulda argued as the voucher didnt say that!

i used it in the one by house of fraser on oxford street.

also if u got one of those free card holders they were handing out at london bridge the ova week, use the daily coupons for 50% off the guardian. so really 40p for a large starbucks coffee. heheeeeeee :D

'normal' coffee is a filter (or drip) coffee...cheapest one. Or an americano is a black coffee made with shots of espresso and hot water.

The 'coffee light' is on the frappucino section of the menu board and is a cold ice blended drink.
All hot drinks are made with semi-skimmed milk as standard or can be made 'skinny' with skimmed milk on request!

Most barista's are happy to help if your unsure...or just ask for a normal coffee and they'll sort it out!
FALSE! they have jugs with diff names on and they use full fat (labelled: whole milk)for standard and only use semi, skimmed and soya if asked. so a skinny would be semi.
