  • Can you use this offer to purchase a takeaway coffee?

What is the most expensive/largest coffee you can purchase as a takeaway drink?

I am presuming that the voucher (I get the Gaurdian anyway) entitles you to a cup of coffee of your choice for 80p

BUT some people are going on about 40p:confused:

Yes, you can get the drink to go (i'm assuming, I haven't actually looked at the voucher - but Starbucks charge the same for here or to go)

The largest size is called 'Venti', but you can ask for a large, and they'll understand. You can get any kind of coffee... go with what you'll enjoy, not what the most expensive is. If you're not sure, ask the barista..There is no point getting an expensive free drink you wont enjoy, if you could have a cheaper free drink you would.

The voucher is for a free drink - as the guardian usually costs 80p, people who don't normally purchase it call it 80p for the drink. Sometimes you can get the Guardian for less at student shops/with vouchers, so they say its 40p - if you have the voucher, the drink is free!

To the hater above: Yes, one Starbucks employee charged a fireman $140 for water. Thousands of Starbucks employees donate their markout (free bag of coffee worth $10 each) every month to servicemen and women. You do the math.
  • Yes, you can takeaway, and the price is the same to have in or takeaway; they only put VAT on food. They do not specify size or ANYTHING other than that it must be an espresso based drink. My friend is vegan and ordered a soy hazelnut latte with her voucher with no problems last week.
