Hi, my wife and I used a voucher each to get a large Latte from our local Starbucks in Carlisle the first week it was published. We had no problems on that occasion. We missed the second week as I was at work all day. This week it took me 6 visits to newsagents to find 2 copies of the Guardian and armed with our tokens we went to the same local Starbucks in Carlisle. This time we were told by the manageress that the offer was limited to a 'Tall' drink only i.e. the smallest one they do. I challenged this statement telling her that the token didn't specify any particular size and she insisted it was all that the till would 'let her do' ??? Blatantly lies as we had no problems the previous time. I'm going to write ( e-mail ) to Starbucks main web site and complain about this and see what they say - I'll let you know. Has anyone else been told this story and been refused any larger size than 'Tall' ?

I got a vente drink today and my colleague a grande. So I don't believe their till does not let them add that. I think they were telling you porkies.
