Went to Starbucks for the first with coupon last week and do not usually partake in hot drinks so please excuse my knowledge: I ordered a hot chocolate which they agreed to even though not really allowed and ordered a coffee light for the mrs. I orderd a coffee light as mrs always on some heath kick but when it came it was cold with ice in- is this normal??? Whats the best order if you just want a normal coffee!!

I'm not a coffee fan, however isn't a cafe mocha just a hot chocolate with an espresso in it? Therefore couldn't I just ask for cafe mocha without the espresso, a coffee based drink, without the coffee.

Well you can try...depends how bothered the guy behind the desk is, I guess.

Personally, I hate Starbucks with such a passion, I certainly won't be taking this up, but if it were for a slightly more ethical coffee house I might take it up...don't see there's any need for the attitude, T_N_1?

FYI, I'm not much of a coffee drinker but find it fun to try a few things out with these freebie coupons. But I also don't want a lot of calories from a beverage. I found this Web site that lists the calories on coffees; there are several with milk that are well under 100 calories.

Hey guys. I work in a starbucks so I'd thought I'd give you the lowdown..

When it says "expresso based drink" it means it has to be one with an expresso in from the machine, so no hot chocolates or frappuchinos :( so if u fancy a cold one you can get an iced coffee

They not only gave me a frappuchino for my voucher last time, but it was the barista's idea. I don't go to Starbucks much and asked for suggestions for someone who didn't like strong coffee. Maybe the Starbucks you went to was just being a bit particular?
