Not sure I can bring myself to buy the Guardian for the sake of a cheap coffee.

    Someone might see me.
Could be worse, could be the Mail. Admitting to buying the Mail would be truly embarassing.

Also, if you visit any shops near to universities the Guardian is only 30p!!!

Just go to your local library and tear out the coupon.
That is, if someone else hasn't beaten you to it!

With their policy on their cold water taps, wasting 24 million ltrs a DAY, enough to quench the thirst of an African Country.................it should be a full on international boycott.
Mummy to two girls, 4 & 1, been at home for four years, struggling to contend with the terrifying thought of returning to work.

I would agree with that one!
However, think for 80p can put down my guns and save some cash - may even try the "crossword" trick that the guy previous did!!

As sharpei31 says, Starbucks have recently been criticised for their policy of leaving their taps on all day in every one of their 10,000 stores around the world.

I'll take advantage of this offer but I won't be buying anything from them while they continue to have a policy of wasting 23 million litres of water per day.

    See http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1771553.ece
Me, too. I am determined to boycott them until they change their policy of running the tap. What's the point of me saving washing-up water in a bowl for the garden, if that sort of waste is going on. I know, every little bit helps, but it makes me so cross!
Another place is Clinton's cafe in Southend, they also leave the tap running. I will write to them and see how they justify it.

Hey guys. I work in a starbucks so I'd thought I'd give you the lowdown..

When it says "expresso based drink" it means it has to be one with an expresso in from the machine, so no hot chocolates or frappuchinos :( so if u fancy a cold one you can get an iced coffee

    so:
    Espresso
    Espresso Macchiato
    Latte (iced)
    Cappucchinos
    Caramel Macchiato (yum) (iced)
    Americano (iced)
    Mocha (iced)
    White Mocha (iced)

Syrups my store has at the moment are:
Caramel, Vanilla (sugar free), Hazelnut (sugar free), Peppermint, Irish creme, Almond

Reason why it's Espresso based is to tie in with the new autumn theme of espresso, hence the new price boards etc

    Hope that helps :)

Is the 'expresso' at your Starbucks anything like 'espresso'?
