It says "Delivery within 63 Week(s)", thats more than a year, don't order from them.

many cex stores have got xbox 360 in stock (cant see them online at the mo)

they are doing the core pack for £500-600
and the premium pack £800

I know the price is juz too high but at least they got some in stock...

Just wanted to say a really big "Thank You!" to the OP of the Comet offer.

The 360 arrived yesterday and it is absolutely brilliant. As it was the Core pack it didnt come wih the Hi-Def AV cable. I rushed out and got that yesterday from GAME.

Although my HDTV is only 32" i am absolutely gobsmacked at the quality of it. If you ordered the pack which includes King Kong and Perfect Dark, despite the relatively poor write ups of Kong, i guarantee the opening sequence will be unlike anything you have ever seen.

Absolutely love it!

I think you are right in some respects, but I don't want to turn this whole thread into a MS haters forum.

I feel that MS could have been more open with the public and retailers regarding the predicted availability of the units, and this in turn would have given the retailers more insight into what they can expect in terms of fulfilling pre-orders.

I will be quite happy to say that I DO NOT hate Microsoft, there are many things they have done very well, after all many of would'nt be looking at this page without much of their technology, I just feel the whole mess surrounding the 360 should be looked into after Christmas by some consumer watchdogs, and I hope it teaches a few consumers a lesson; The suppliers and manufacturers do not hold ultimate power, we do.

I just hope we all never forget that in the insane world that is Christmas shopping.

Does anyone know if the French or Spanish versions of the Xbox can just have their language changed to make them work as an English version?

From a quick skag around the spanish electrical sites, it looks like I could get one there fairly easily; and the french version of kelkoo comes up with a few possibilities; it might even be worth a quick trip over the channel where they seem to be selling for around 400 euros for the premium box.

giwebb - Your correct. Just phoned Game.net and they've confirmed that the full packages they recieve will be Bundle and not the £279.99 that we pre-ordered.

She says that it is Microsoft that are supplying the Pro-Bundles and not Game.net just trying to make a quick profit by adding 3-4 game (as I sugested).

If I didn't accept the email invite link when they send it,I would still be held in pre-order for when Microsoft sends 'un-bundled' full systems.

She admited that Game.net did a bundle up and sell the Core system yesterday. But insisted the bundling of the full system is forced by Microsoft. :mad:

European systems will have different power settings so you would need at very least a power adaptor, maybe even a stepdown converter.

My first post here! even though I have used this forum for over a year!

Oh, and by the way, dont be fooled by Amazon - they say 24 hour delivery but they send you an email saying not in stock.......once you have ordered!!

I know a few people from one of the forums I read are buying from German ebay, so expect you won't have any problems.
