I'm so sorry wannasave for only having one post and not the huge amount of 91 like yourself!

I've frequented these forums for months after hearing Martin on Jeremy Vine but have never really had anything to say until now. This thread has interested me and I've been following it for days. I simply typed in the information innovate gave in his/her post into google and came up with this web site of which I thought I'd post for everyone to see.

Sorry for appearing dodgy but we all have to start somewhere.

I agree, look at the facts. Established companies cannot supply the consoles. There is the chance that an indie shop may be able to supply 1, maybe 2 consoles but none of this feels right. I'd love to get one but this ain't the way folks. Remember MSE not MWE (Money Wasting Expert).

I've just typed the same information into google and it doesn't find Standard Computing Services at all or indeed any reference to them

I know i dont have many post counts either. Im just trying to stop anyone being ripped off especially at this time of year when money is short for everyone. so be careful ! if im wrong please let me know as i would love a xbox 360 under my tv for christmas day

If they were a limited company their details would be on companies house web-site. I've just looked and there is a company filed under that name but with a different address in London - with a Status of: Active - Proposal to Strike off, no accounts filed - overdue.

ok, so they are in the process of being wound up. Definitely not a good idea to trade with this company then.

as was already commented - perhaps not dodgy but amateurish

Remember this is a wholesaler - if anyone has ever tried to find UK wholesaler web pages, you will know that wholesalers don't usually have any web presence to speak of (I don't understand why not, but that's how it is)
