i was in hmv yesterday and there were loads of x360 prem pack on display. I don't see any out of stock sign. does this means they are available?

No. It just means thay have some empty boxes to display.

Well i dont know whats going on i purchased mine early on the friday and have had no confirmation email about it or call as to when it would be sent to me,but did notice that payment has coming off my credit card.
Now what i cant understand is i probably ordered before most people on the friday morning with some getting the option of when they wanted it sent and also with some getting confirmation emails and i get none of the above.
I did not even get to pick when i wanted it delivered when buying it online.
I have called them 3 times the last being not so long ago,and asked whats going on as i have read on here and elsewhere that some got delivery dates even after i ordered mine,well i did not mention about forums just wanted to know why i had not got confirmation yet or a call as promised on delivery,after speaking to the guy he put me on hold and they said would find out for me and came back and said there was an error or something on delivery?Well i did not get the option on there site when ordering?
They put me through to another dept would said friday would be the day its sent,i asked it could be done sooner but they said this was the soonest they could do,it stinks as i keep reading about people ordering the item arfter me and even yesterday and getting maybe them before me.
I suppose i cant complain as it looks as if i have one and should be friday?Well thats what they say,so i know have for sure been told by them twice i have my order and its in process and have given me a delivery number for friday.
So i cant see them going to all this trouble in telling me i have one and will be delivered on friday if they have none to give.
Maybe this option of delivery on there site which i was not given had a big part to play on it im not sure as there sure is a lot of people i have read about thats got confirmation before me and after me on orders im sure i was first on.
Anyway cant complain seems to be sorted out now and i better not be getting lies fromm them in the hope they get more in.

So now i have a reference number i got when i ordered online,but no confirmation and now also a delivery number so lets hope thats it now.
And i ordered it about 7:00am or there about on friday morning cant remember now but i did order it before 8:00am as i went upto my woolworths to see if any spare stock was in.

fedup with PC's.....to get xbox360 quality youd need to spend £1000....then theres the incompatiblility probs and the terrible support.....upgrading a graphics card is still the most frustrating experiences ever...ive worked in computers 20 years and graphics card are still seriously troublesome...ive now decided to forget pcs as games machines and spend the money consoles instead

Thats exactly what i did - i got one for my wee boy for christmas who lives with his mum, but also got a second from my 'backup' order that i'd originally planned to keep if i got it. Doubled my money on it selling it on ebay. Will wait until i can walk in to game and buy one - probably february - and the i will have it for free effectively.

I used to play games on PC's but found the spend to get the game to play like it looked on the box just wasn't worth it. Plus all the hassle of games not running, not uninstalling cleanly etc etc, i just gave up. Now i have a laptop for surfing, ipod library, emails etc, and a 20Gb modded xbox for games. Definitely a wise move keeping gaming separate from PCs!

the fella i spoke to at comet said if u have a delivery number you will get one and the reason the site stopped giving out delivery dates was because the traffic was so high (it couldn't cope with it all) my mate has one coming monday and i should have 2 on wed am will post if this is the case
