There were a number of posts on here a while back basically saying how bad the heated eyelash curler was- may be worth considering before peeps use their pinky on them.

I bought one with a pinkie, they are absolutely useless. I only did one eye, you could not see any difference whatsoever between the two eyes. I also thought it was really too hot, it would be quite easy to burn yourself on these. So I took mine back this morning, they refunded no problem, but gave me £5.99 cash, I tried to get 0.99 and a pinkie (needed for mens No.7) but she said that would be too much trouble and just take the cash
  • Had a crap day so when I ended up with three prescriptions from the doctors this morning thought it was the perfect excuse to go to Boots ;) In Swansea centre store they had a few bits in clearance, including 20p 17 eyeshadows (funfair - a dark pink colour that would be better for a blusher!), some self tan (Piz Buin for £4 and Soltan) and Nicky Clarke straightners for £19.79, which came with a free paddle brush and hair clips. The straightners were down from £40something, can't find a photo on .com but they were quite slim straightners! The SA did try and scan the mailing list and tillspit electrical vouchers with it for me but it wasn't working.

Here's what I bought for anyone who cares ;)

    Transaction 1 -
    Biore moisturiser - £4.99
    17 eyeshadow - 20p
17 eye dazzle - free with ACM voucher
=1 till spit - Swansea doesn't seem to have pinkys

    Transaction 2 -
Boots Expert silky mitt (ie the cardboard exfoliator!) - £1.29 + 100 points from mailing voucher
    Mitchum - £2.79
    Glamour - £2
Gave the SA a 50% off Mitchum voucher & £1 Mitchum but she was only prepared to take one. FYI stmidwife the voucher you e-mailed me scanned perfect, thank you!
    = 1 till spit

    Transaction 3 - my best! ;)
John Frieda Brunette Shampoo - £4.48
John Frieda Brunette Conditioner - £4.48
On offer for 2 for £5.50, but I had three JF vouchers from the Elite Club mailing. They weren't for the products I bought, but they scanned! Which left £1.50 to pay. I could've used the third but I was scared as an SA had already had to authorise the 2 because they'd gone over the limit according to the screen  I noticed some JF sachets for £1.50 ish so this could be combined with 3 JF vouchers to get a real bargain!
    = 1 till spit for £1.50 spend!

    Transaction 4
    Shower cap - £2.00
    Tweezers - £1.89
    No7 Instant Radiance Brush Foundation - £10.50
Used a till spit to make it £5.50, and the 500+300 ACM vouchers. The SS till crashed on the ACM vouchers so a SA watched me do the transaction again and stopped me from using a pinky aswell
= 1 till spit earned and took one I found left by the till too :A

So quite a successful trip! Looking forward to going to Cardiff on the weekend though; unmanned SS tills and pinkys! I have a total of 4 till spits and 1 pinky to spend.

    Today I got,
2x Mitchum solid on 2 for £3.50 - had 2 x 50% vouchers SA did not think they would work but keyed them in and got 2 x £1.50 off. With other stuff, still under £5 but got £5 till spit. :j

    3 x mens No.7 face wash @ £7 on 2 4 3 so £14
    + GWP
used pinkie and till spit, so £4 to pay. Used the SS tills.

In Brent Cross on the No7 stand they have a No.7 Pink Jewellery Box (old GWP?) for £3, very pretty. Filled with, they say, £33 worth of stuff.
I think I'm starting to get good at this Bootsing lark :rotfl:

    Yep - that's an old GWP! :T
Defo worth £3 for the mini pink grapefruit nailvarnish and the box alone so I've bought a couple for gifts.

So gutted today as it was my first shop since my holiday and my local boots has already run out of pinkies! :(

Looks like I won't get any this time round.......roll on the next glitch!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I was just wondering whether anyone has bought and tried the No7 manicure kit and what do they think of it? This is the one I mean:

I've only managed to get the mailing electrical voucher to work with the mirrors, not the till spit or the white glossy voucher, So if you've got that one use the perfume purchases to get a £5 pinkie and/or a £5 till spit and you might get it for £4.99 :j
