Transaction 3 - my best!
John Frieda Brunette Shampoo - £4.48
John Frieda Brunette Conditioner - £4.48
On offer for 2 for £5.50, but I had three JF vouchers from the Elite Club mailing. They weren't for the products I bought, but they scanned! Which left £1.50 to pay. I could've used the third but I was scared as an SA had already had to authorise the 2 because they'd gone over the limit according to the screenI noticed some JF sachets for £1.50 ish so this could be combined with 3 JF vouchers to get a real bargain!
= 1 till spit for £1.50 spend!

Hmm, that's interesting. Do you mean if you have too much of your total deducted by coupons, an SA has to OK it? Because I was going to use some coupons on an SS till that would lead to a very good deal (some no7 stuff, maybe an olay item that would be 97p after the voucher, etc). I know some people have gotten crazy good deals on SS tills, and they surely couldn't have if an SA had to OK each one. So maybe it's different based on the store? Can anyone share insight as to if and when SAs have to OK your purchases on SS tills due to coupon use?

Can you help me about the Advantage card evening next week please. I am going to spend over £50 to get the £10 worth of points, do i still get the normal amount of points, and if so can i use double points as well, or does the £10 points promo overide normal points transactions.
Thanks everyone.0 -
you get the promo points as well as normal points and you can also use double points voucher if you have been sent it with your invitation.0

just got Boots Viewpoint survey and look at this question:
Boots are considering running the following promotion in the run up to Christmas this year…
Buy into 5 of our ‘Offer of the Week’ deals and receive a £10 Boots voucher (eg. Half price FUJI digital camera, Half price St Tropez gift pack, Half price Babyliss Red Straightener, Half price No 7 skincare collection).
intresting....St. Tropez is now so the rest could be as well....

Here's what I bought for anyone who cares
Transaction 1 -
Biore moisturiser - £4.99
17 eyeshadow - 20p
17 eye dazzle - free with ACM voucher
=1 till spit - Swansea doesn't seem to have pinkys
Transaction 2 -
Boots Expert silky mitt (ie the cardboard exfoliator!) - £1.29 + 100 points from mailing voucher
Mitchum - £2.79
Glamour - £2
Gave the SA a 50% off Mitchum voucher & £1 Mitchum but she was only prepared to take one. FYI stmidwife the voucher you e-mailed me scanned perfect, thank you!
= 1 till spit
Transaction 3 - my best!
John Frieda Brunette Shampoo - £4.48
John Frieda Brunette Conditioner - £4.48

= 1 till spit for £1.50 spend!
Transaction 4
Shower cap - £2.00
Tweezers - £1.89
No7 Instant Radiance Brush Foundation - £10.50
Used a till spit to make it £5.50, and the 500+300 ACM vouchers. The SS till crashed on the ACM vouchers so a SA watched me do the transaction again and stopped me from using a pinky aswell
= 1 till spit earned and took one I found left by the till too :A
So quite a successful trip! Looking forward to going to Cardiff on the weekend though; unmanned SS tills and pinkys! I have a total of 4 till spits and 1 pinky to spend.
Did you do this with the same SA or do you go 'round' and do another shop and queue up again? Sorry no sure how you go about doing multiple transactions. thanks0 -

Had a strange experence today, bought loads of bits and tried the mirror. Had 3 kids and stressed OH dancing around me driving me mad and just shoved any old coupon through and it took £25 off.
One of the elecs didn't work and called the SS SA over who put me on a normal till and didnlt use coupons, however, what it does mean is that the postal coupon, the No 7 till spit, No7 glossy and one of the elecs works and the mirror is FREE.
Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)0
