This thread has always had some chat as this is how we find bargains and work out what works and what doesn't work. I personally don't mind some chat, shopping lists, stash pics although i do think that good nights, and I'm making dinner etc should be kept to PM. Please can we refrain from posting pics of children on this thread due to the fact the site is public. This is not a personal opinion of mine but i have been made aware that this caused a few complaints along with the chat.
I do agree at times there is too much chat but that could be me just being miserable, being a mother, housewife and in full time work can make it hard to come back and read 30 pages of nothing iykwim so i think it would be a good idea to have some sort of rules, just for guidance reasons and colour coding so people know what can be posted and what cant and what can be skipped etc. I will chat to someone about this and let you know what is arranged. I know this thread will not go back to normal straight away as people will be voicing opinions etc so please give it some time. In the meantime please just post here as normal with glitches shopping lists Q's etc. If you are posting a glitch please put it in Red bold. This will make it easier for people to see and skip everything else.
If people want to send me any suggestions/ideas on what they would like to see changed on the thread to help it run better please PM me.

All Boots seems to have different policies. What happens in one does not necessarily happen in another.

Successfully getting some of the better glitches often depends on if the SA you pick is willing to try. Its sometimes sensible to buy some other things to 'disguise' your bargain. If the SA won't put it through, please don't make a fuss - they are only doing their job. Just try again another SA / store / day. It is a good idea to try and make a friend in a SA if possible.

Can anyone tell me if the R&M gold make up bag (long thin one) is one of the reduced items also going through as 342? I was in East Kilbride last week and they had loads and gold round metallic eye kits, these were all priced at £9.00 for the bag and £18.00 (I think) on the SEL. I dont have spare cash for Diesel at the moment so I am trying to decide whether to go to Boots this week and try these with the pinkies or to refrain myself.

Thanks CPG for the new thread. Don't have any money to buy things this week, but would love to get some more vouchers.0

Me too I hate being permanatly skint. Everyones dead excited by the pinkies except me as I really shouldnt be spending anymore in Boots at the mo .
Last time I hung about the doorways quite a lot and 'wombled quite a few' so I might try that again next week , one of the best places to keep an eye out are the OAP baskets (no offense meant to anyone not OAP who uses these) you know the ones one wheels? There were loads of til spits/pinkies abandoned and looking lonely in these baskets near the doors.
sorry for being a bin raker:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hi All
So from now on I will post my eye make up pics here, along with any advice. I would ask that people please continue to post replies to these pics, as I love to hear what you all think plus I like to hear any ideas for new looks that you may have. However I would ask that when posting your reply can it be in this format:
MrsBB Eye Make Up
Then your message.
And leave out the pics. This way it won't clutter the thread and everyone is happyAlso, I have set up a Photobucket Album of the make up looks so that everytime I put a new pic on this post, I can delete the old one, and add it to the Album - then anyone wanting to view the Album can use this link:
http://s326.photobucket.com/albums/k...e%20Up%20Pics/
The pics are listed in order, so if you start at the bottom of the page, you will see the oldest ones, and if you start at the top, they will be the newest ones.
Thank you CPG - you are a star *mwah*
Thank you all *big hugs*
P.S The password is: bootsers - I did this so that it will be only available to people who read the thread
New look
I created this look using only 17 (apart from the black eyeliner as this is maybelline) I used 17 Solo Glitter eyeshadow in Style Queen as a base, applied with a dry brush. Then I used 17 trio in Pretty in Pink, I used the dark pink colour, applied with a wet brush, up to the eye socket crease, blending it well with the silver base. Then again using a wet brush I applied the purple colour to the outer corner of the eyelid. I used 17 eyeliner crayon in silver to draw a thick line close the lashes, then drew a thinner line over this using the Maybelline Define Eyeliner pen, and also used this underneath the bottom lashes.
The pic isn't very good, I prefer to take them in daylight but did this one tonight. I thought it would be a good party look, and also cheaper to do than most, esp with 17 being on 342
Hope you all like it
If you would like to request any colour ideas or have any questions regarding the looks already created please feel free to PM me, and remember to include the pic number from the photobucket album in your PM
P.S I will update with a new look very soon, I promiseI've just been a wee bit busy since I started uni
But will try my bestest to post a new look this week sometime

Oh you are lucky in Ayrshire, you have special baskets for people to carry/push their OAP's around in.
Here in the North of England we have to walk around on our own. (sorry couldnt resist) :rotfl:~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
