Morning everyone
Pigpen I hope you feel better today-I can't get on without you. As for your legs...now you have to keep an open mind see-when my legs are popping and the diclofenac is not enough, I use Keratex cooling gel. It is a cooling gel that breeders use on the horses after runs. I was put onto it by a friend in SA who studied at Onderstepoort(the animal uni).
I didn't believe her either but I tried a tiny bit and was hooked-and its not expensive either:)
Polkadot: where do you get the Keratex get you mentioned. I have Lipodeama and think it may help me.
This is my first time on this threadDoes it count reading what you all have done when I have done nothing myself?
I know this is a terrible thing to say, and I do have much to be grateful for. but I am so bluddy BORED!! I've got a million things I could/should be doing and my motivation is zilch, na da , nothing. I've been this way all week. I feel like Kathryn Tate "am I bovvered? " no I ain't!
And then I feel so guilty. Its all sitting there (the chores I mean) sulking and glaring at me and telling me how lazy I am and I have to agree but I just can't bring myself to do anything about it.
Please tell me other people have weeks like this......
In some kind of defence I do have a bit of a sore throat and a cough.....sigh..Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)0 -

If you click on the words Keratex cooling gel in my first post (they're highlighted in blue) it'll take you to the website where I buy mine. I had a hard time finding it here at first as in South Africa we just knew it as "iceman". Just don't overdo it-very small amounts. And you might really want to check with a doctor first, (or at least a vet:rotfl: ) (sorry:o should have said that originally too) I use it to manage pain from cerebral palsy, and it works for me.But it's all only muscle related and I don't know exactly how it would do with other conditions. (Have I covered all my men in hats bases now?)0 -
Sorry it took me a bit long to get back. [STRIKE]Dot[/STRIKE] (eh ? no idea what that was meant to say!
) during my HHC I got the lounge dusted and hoovered, hall and kitchen hoovered, dishes done, meal plan done for next week, finances checked, jumpers hung up to dry and comp admin stuff done.
Bye for now

Polka dot I've just noticed the amount of times you've been thanked versus your number of posts - fantastic! :T You must be exceedingly helpful did you get your helpful badge at brownies, lol. (Not being sarcastic I promise.)
Thanks re the Keratex hadn't noticed the blue highlight. I will check it out with my specialist nurses (well they're not exactly mine but you know what I mean....).
Lists, shmists:mad: I make lists of my lists and they just make me overwhelmed:( sorry, bad day today.
But I will go and put my washing out - a job I like when sun is shining as now- and get something ready for freecycler to come and collect.
See, I am a good girl really :A ha, flippin ha :rolleyes:Stop looking for answers....

I did the same, I think most of us did, wrote lists, meant well, wrote another list... etc... but it's such a friendly bunch on here and we all do the same list so we can gee each other on - Have you read the very first post? Very important and you will see where we're all coming from.
We do HHC's (half hour challenges) all together, just put the music on loud and off you go singing in your highest Karaoke voice, helps you get done knowing someone else is with you - weird I know but it works...
As Polka said, just do small steps at first - stick to level one and achieve that every day and the rest will fall into place. It's also weird that as you do level 1 you can't help doing bits of level 2 & 3 too, then you've done it all...
as I said, small steps, but join in, you'll find it funLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

That's more or less my 10.30 - 11.00 HHC update.
In my eagerness to clean the pc and it's environment I managed to unplug the router so I have been messing about getting back online.
Then I found my ankle boots which I am going to take upstairs as part of the hall clearing and I decided they were in desperate need of a polish (I wear them for work so I cleaned them too...
Don't you find that you are inspired to 'go the extra mile' on occasion? I feel I am being watched now and a quick whizz isn't always good enough - I now prefer to give rooms a good 'bottoming' when I can...
Now I wonder who else uses that phrase..?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Welcome Ksh - every little bit you do will help - dont put yourself down for what is not done - congratulate yourself on what you have done
My fav saying since I came on here - your house dint get in a mess overnight so dont expect to get it tidy overnight - be patient - take baby steps and NO sorry reading about our exploits doesnt count :rotfl: :rotfl:
make your self a mini list and try to work through that until you feel you are motivated to do more.
we all have good days and bad days/weeks so just puddle along until it passes - and it will. or pigpen will prod you with her pointy stick and slap you with her fluffy slippers:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
welcome to the mad house!!!!
in my HHc I S&S the kitchen, piled the kitchen table up (again:eek: ) and mopped the floor - S&S the bathroom and mopped the floor and hung out the washing. its a start!
