I don't *hate* going to college.. I just find most of it really boring.. I ended up doing 3 peoples work tonight because they couldn't do it!!.. they can now!! :D.. I bet they do! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I was like that when I did my interior design course - I ended up helping paint 4 peoples colour circles coz I wanted to move on to the next stage and they were taking so long to mix their colours...

I am actually finding it more physically demanding than mentally which feels wrong in many ways.. my legs are hurting, I'm not eating properly and I aren't sleeping well.. mainly due to my legs hurting.. every time hubby moves he knocks my legs and wakes me up.. I think this is the real problem, but I cannot do anything about it it is just one of those 'deal with it' situations but that does not stop me wanting to whinge constantly.. though I am trying not to. I decided I hate myself when I whinge so I have been taking copious amounts of pain killers (I haven't OD'd or exceeded the recommended amount!) and have been a touch better today.

Never suffered like that so can only sympathise on the leg front - hope they feel better soon - is it ongoing or just something thats happening at the moment after your fall?

I know you have a great family, but are they all helping you while you do all this? I love mine to bits but they are so used to me doing everything that they tend to sit there until I nag, which I hate doing as I hate nagging, so then I get annoyed with myself and then I get more naggy and moany IYKWIM - you tend to do it more with the ones who know and love you to eh!

Can only suggest rest and eating well really- specially if taking pain killers - always upset my stomach and give me heartburn if I don't eat properly on them - all of which is stuff you already know so pointless telling you and not easy at the moment I suppose - are you run down at all? maybe a tonic or iron tablets will give you a bit of a boost? Helped me no end... Take care of yourself.

Thanks Toots = I’ll look at the NT ones tonight. The Oast house is a bit out of my price range but does look lovely

Lil-me – I’ve already trawled through the countrycottagesonline one. And the idea of taking the dog on a long train journey is just too exhausting!

HollyH – Carpenters looks lovely too – but it says no smoking :o

In a rush this morning so will say hi and bye - have meeting after work here so probably won't be on until later - oh and you know I carefully cleaning the utility area yesterday evening? Well, the dog's only gone and pooed in it over night!

  • Way to go Denise! :j You seem to be bombing along....

Feeling sorry for myself this morning as I dropped a paperweight on my middle toe last night and it's black all the way round and it's really throbbing - can't bend it so walking is a pain - Just have to sit down all day I guess! ;)

Ever volunteer for something then wish you hadn't, even as the words come out of your mouth? We've just had a new office built in our club and they are painting it out tomorrow and muggins here said she was off work and volunteered last night to help paint - we haven't got a lot of money to do stuff in there, so it will all help with costs, but I am so tired I just want to curl up and sleep...

Not doing much in DS's room today until he gets home from school and we'll attack it then - I'll wash his sheets and make his bed before I go out and he can do the rest...

Have emptied the dishwasher, reloaded with hubbys brekkie stuff and sandwich making stuff, S&S'd rest of kitchen, Emptied WM and hung up on airer, TD on for small bits and S&S'd front room, now just going to get DS up, finish petty cash sheets and send them off and then have a shower (might fall back into bed after that for a bit... mmmm, bed!:D )

Sorry I disappeared yesterday I got caught up in lots of jobs, shame not many were flying related. I was dismantling and cleaning a slide for another flylady ;) and then it was W's swimming lesson.

Mooched around last night and watched the restaurant and finally jumped into bed to read my book.

Work today and tomorrow for me so will be loads of pages to catch up on, another 6 as it is from here!

Hope you are all ok. Hi serena :) we seem to keep missing each other.

Catch you all later ladies xx

It's midnight and I've just done something Ive never done before...
I ironed my shower curtain before I put it back up. Usually I would have just let the steam take the creases out, but my bathroom looked so clean and sparkly I decided to make it perfect.

Ha ha -look Tag we've got one!:D
She'll be ironing dusters next - or using matching pegs!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm ALLOWED to 'get' them if they start it!

    Ooh you've had a busy day DeniseNZ:T :T :T :T
What's a LAN? - and happening right now, too...(8pm your time)

Flower when you've got a minute - how do you put multiple quotes in one reply? I have tried - and failed:o

Morning all - wash load 1 (towels) on the line - wash load 2 due to finish imminently. Since it's spare rooms (I wish I had one:o but clearly a necessityon the list if that scary pic was anything to go by) I will cobble together a list from the rest of the house shortly.

Hi honey - no prob. Coz I always forget what I want to say to people, I right click on 'quote' to each person I want to mention as I go through, then they are all there in a seperate tab for me after. I just cut and paste these into one post - just make sure you have the whole of the [quote/] bit in on both ends... or you get a bit of a disjointed post... hope that helps...

And no, you are not ALLOWED to get them, they have to request to join your and TAG's mad cult! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
