Is it because you are doing the course that you really don't want to but have to do? I know you're not enjoying it, and I would imagine having it waste your time when you obviously could be doing other stuff is getting to you?

I don't think you need to get a grip, but like you say, with the half term coming up and you making a choice of where you want to go next, you will have something to look forward to so that might help.

And no, YOUR lists don't get any shorter - now you know how we feel :rotfl:

I don't *hate* going to college.. I just find most of it really boring.. I ended up doing 3 peoples work tonight because they couldn't do it!!.. they can now!! :D..

I am actually finding it more physically demanding than mentally which feels wrong in many ways.. my legs are hurting, I'm not eating properly and I aren't sleeping well.. mainly due to my legs hurting.. every time hubby move she knocks my legs and wakes me up.. I think this is the real problem, but I cannot do anything about it it is just one of those 'deal with it' situations but that does not stop me wanting to whinge constantly.. though I am trying not to. I decided I hate myself when I whinge so I have been taking copious amounts of pain killers (I haven't OD'd or exceeded the recommended amount!) and have been a touch better today.

I have DD1's phone bill to pay tomorrow then I am almost up to date.

    Right..

    uniforms
college bag.. then I am home until Monday again.. :D It is my favourite session tomorrow.. I love the Thursday tutor.. :D

Mmmmm thiink I'll join you on the 'fraudy feelings', haven't done too much but moved into new office at work today and that involved a lot of cleaning,

Feel like a flea rather than a fly.:o

Sorry for your poorly legs Pigpen, no wonder you feel a bit low hun.

If you smacked your head off a wall and knocked out a few of your genius brain cells, perhaps you'd not get so bored.:D You're too brainy.:p

  • It's midnight and I've just done something Ive never done before...
I ironed my shower curtain before I put it back up. Usually I would have just let the steam take the creases out, but my bathroom looked so clean and sparkly I decided to make it perfect.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Evening all, been busy eating choc fudge pudding, will post recipe in a roly-mo :)

Right, off to work for 2 days, so let's see what list I shall come back to on Friday pm / Saturday:

Marvellous Monday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Clear a drawer .. any drawer
Tuesday trauma - Kitchen and Dining Room
Wednesday Scrubfest- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Clean the windows in these rooms...
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
Thursday Fun- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms

    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Excellent, which means that Friday ought to be the master bedroom and I did that on Saturday, including washing and ironing the curtains ... jobs a good 'un!

My bonus points for this evening ... I took the bathroom radiator apart whilst DD was having a bath and cleaned it :) Trust me, it was pigging!

    Chocolate Fudge Pudding:

    2tbsp melted butter
    1tsp vanilla essence
    1 cup s/r flour
    1tsp salt
    3/4 cup sugar
    2tbsp cocoa
    1/2 cup milk

    Top:

    3/4cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup cocoa
    1 3/4 cup hot water

    Mix dry ingredients
Add melted butter & vanilla essence
    Mix milk until stiff
    Put in a greased dish

    Top:
Sprinkle & add hot water carefully

    180 deg c / GM6 for 1 1/4hrs

I use a fan oven, so 160 degs for me .... also, if you don't have US cups ... just use a "normal" mug and do it from there, easy peasy and best served with single cream .. I did it with spray cream as that's all I had, it was "ok" but not brilliant. The spray cream that it ... ice cream would work too, needs to be substantial.

Boys are having a LAN tonight, OH is going out, so I think I'll do a pizza deal for dinner. Will do some home made fries and coleslaw, too. That should fill six hungry boys up.
