Polka dot I've just noticed the amount of times you've been thanked versus your number of posts - fantastic! :T You must be exceedingly helpful did you get your helpful badge at brownies, lol. (Not being sarcastic I promise.)
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

That is funny, no the real trick is lots of flyladies (and lurkers;) ) read my posts (hit the thanks button so you know which posts you have already read) and I just don't post as much as I should:o But I promise thats flylady's fault-when I first started I used to get online and gab so I had an excuse to procrastintate-now Im doing all the work I did in the beginning and more;)

    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing on the line including DD's bedding, lovely sunny day and breezy too.

I've done the bathroom and toilet today (I still stick to the old lists).

Worked out my finances and I can see why the bank account is a bit  but now I know why I can transfer some money over if it gets too hairy. I'll see how it goes. I haven't overspent it just needs to come from the allocated account instead of the current account. Makes sense to me anyway.

    Dinner cooking now.

I confess...I already do the matching peg thing. I even have a set of blue holiday pegs that we take on holiday with us, because our caravan is trimmed with blue. :rotfl:

Tag methinks we are NOT worthy of this one - she has taken peg matching to a new height!:T :T :T
I worked my socks off trying to keep on top of my house. It was never straight, and I was always shattered, hence the user name. Me, motivated about housework... not a prayer. Housework was something to be endured. The difference with this is.... instead of doing 100 jobs all over the house, and not being able to see a difference for how hard you've worked, .... you concentrate on one area/room, and do say 10 tasks in that room. Suddenly you can really see the work you've done, and day by day your house comes into shape without you feeling like you've become some domestic drudge. :j

As usual SupergirlSarah puts it so eloquently.

yeah right;) Have you not defragged? Naughty Toots;)

Toots My HHC was diverted as my washer finished the cycle - load 3 - so I had to go and peg it out! Then I sat down with a :coffee: in front of the PC...fatal...off to finish now then I can have my lunch.

KSH What I like about this thread, aside from the motivation, is the knowledge that my flymates are busy cleaning/clearing and tidying too - and when I post what I've done someone will say 'well done'...you all make me feel appreciated:A

    Matching pegs!

    Thanks all for your support.
I have now unloaded W and put W out.
    Picked up the poo (ugh)
Cleaned the pond filter - I think that qualifies as a special challenge or somesuch cos its such a horrible job - but I did it.:T
    Dealt with Freecycler

Had to laff at the suggestions re Hotspots - put them all together and go through them - if I did that I would not come out from under till Halloween! However I did do one yesterday :)

I know you all speak a foreign language here and I am endeavouring to get my head round the acronyms but please: what is ZEDS PUD?

Of course its this place (not this thread, this forum) that keeps me from achieving much. I am always learning stuff, and trying to learn more stuff, and asking advice and then I have to come back and read answers and respond (rude not to when people are so helpful) and then that leads to more responses and so and so.....

Anyway, I am having coffee break now ;)
    Stop looking for answers....
The most you can hope for are clues.....:)

  • Oh why,oh why did I have to be brought up witha a "waste not want not attitude"?
I am just trying to bring myself round to the idea that I don't actually need the last two toilet seats that I had in my bathroom, or Thomas the Tank Engine bedding now that my son is 22 years old...and I can hear my grandmother's voice ringing in my head sayng, "Some little child in Africa would be glad of that" and "We never had Thomas the Tank Engine bedding during the war".
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Actually that counts as an intelligent question - I had to ask what a DF was...and as for Aunt Flo!!!:rotfl:

    it's a pudding recipe - I'll pop a link in shortly

There you go - post 799

The recipe was found in a hotspot if I remember rightly...Polka is better than me at remembering what's been said (younger therefore fresher brain. obviously) so she'll correct me if I am wrong but I believe the recipe had been missing for 15 years!
