Erm... just got up... couldn't be bothered earlier... I'm trying to decide whether to do anything at this late stage, or just leave it all for next week to not get done again
Then again, the kitchen will HAVE to be dealt with as I need everything off the surfaces for the tiling to be done. The bathroom will only take 10 minutes, and I actually WANT to do my bedroom, so maybe there's still hope!
Sarah - gorgeous necklace. If you wear it enough, the cost per wear will probably be so low you'll be able to prove it was a bargain!
G&B - love the dress, very stylish, and you'll be able to dress it up or down, so like Sarah be able to claim it was an economy not an indulgence
Triker - glad you're back in the land of the living
Nikki - impressive progress on your list. Well done.
Pigpen - how about a scoring matrix based on the number of people who provide feedback, how they rate them for each task, with a weighting for each item as to which task is the most important? *** that should keep her quiet for a bit playing with Excel!!**** And some conditional formatting to highlight the most and least effective?
Soappie - if you need any more holiday reading, let me know as I have a box of books waiting to go to the book bank if I can't find homes for them. I don't know how far you are from me, but I'm sure we could arrange a handover!
Right... off to find... breakfast, the WM and get myself motivated!
Enjoy the sunshine0 -
Right I'm off to do a HHC at 12.30 but think it will actually be for an hour!! Will I be on my own?!?Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0 -
Thanks lovely Flyladies!!!
I am still the classic Cheshire Cat here! And greenbee I'm so with you on the cost per wear logic..... and since I'll be wearing it every day, it'll only take about 20 years for it to become a bargain!
G&B That's a really nice dress... are you going to go 'Autumnal' with boots and tights? I love getting something you can wear again, dress up, dress down etc! Good for you, I bet you'll look great.
Well, I am so going to have kick my own lazy self satisfied butt this week! The house has reached 'you can't rely on previous flylady work to carry you through any longer' status!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: So it'll be big time flying for me! Toots I'll be calling in a kick up the butt from you tomorrow, and hope you'll be able to join me in a few HHC's.
Right off to do homework with DD3 now, just finished helping DD2 to be the best that she can be, rather than a lazy that'll do can't really be bothered girl!
See you in a bit

hi everyone
pigpen - baby wipes (good for getting marks off carpets/upholstery)
lemon juice (for 'bleaching' wooden chopping boards)
biological washing powder (good for soaking roasting tins etc)
I also have the same as most of the others that have posted ....starpdrops, bleach, soda crystals, vinegar, ecloths, paper towells/kitchen roll, jeyes fluid (for outside jobs) feather duster(ostrich!!!), beeswax polish, protective gloves etc
dusty - glad you are feeling better
G&B glad your weekend was less stressful and love the dress - wish I had a figure that could wear that!!!
Greenbee re your box of books -what about retirement homes, macmillan homes/day centres, hospital library, hospital wards, even ordinary library take books (it saves them buying) and there are charities who dont have shops but do a once a year sale who need stock - like womens refuge organisations, childline, etc
supergirl - LOVE THE DIAMOND babe - wear it and enjoy it you are only 40 once and you deserve to be spoilt!!! it is so simple and stylish - I am sure you will find loads of occassions to wear it - I wouldnt be taking it off!!!!
toots xxPeace will be mine
could do better - must try harder
Live each day as if its your last
