Morning ladies you will be glad to hear normal service has been restored in the Dusty Household (well at least for now) and a huge thanks for all your hugs.

Pigpen - love it when you call us minions

Sarah - no wonder you're not bothered about being 40 with a lovely diamond like that, hope you have many happy times wearing it

Mist has lifted here - washing on the line and had to flap my bingo wings as a tissue had gone through and the clothes were covered in bits.

Dying went well - amazed at the results. Dye acted like a disclosing tablet in the machine and showed up all the scale on the seal so wiped that off with neat vinegar - fine now.

    OH doing the shower
DS2 being dispatched to do the windows
DS1 sent to his dumping ground to tidy

I'm going to get the hoover and hoover my way up to DS3 room where he has been sent for kicking cupboards after loosing on the wii.

I don't think so.. but maybe we could do one categorised.. cleaners per room.. which we find best.. ooh I am so wanting everyone to email me with their recommendations so I can compile a file!! I am such a geek!!!
    Shall we???
I love lists, I love compiling lists, I love getting data and compiling lists.... mmmm, me thinks I'm in then... Here is my list:

Bathroom: Stardrops watered down in a spray bottle to clean bath, taps, sink, sides, shelves, etc. - I use a yellow cloth for this...
Harpic 100% limescale remover for the loo, coz we get heavy limescale and this really controls it - under the rim too Tryker...(about the only expensive cleaner I buy) - I use a pink cloth for this...
Once I have cleaned the bathroom, I wash the cloths
Kitchen: Antibacterial washing up liquid (shops own) to clean most of kitchen, including hob, wipe out cooker (coz now I'm a flylady it's really easy just to wipe out instead of having to wear industrial clothing and use a flame thrower...), tiles, worktops, microwave, appliances, etc...
Toothbrush - to get into those bits and pieces a cloth just does not reach
Antibac spray (shops own - usually from farmfoods) - for when cleaning up after preparing food, etc.
Dishwasher - just DW powder/DW salt/rinse aid to clean pots and stuff, bleach and vinegar to clean it out.
General washing up cloths, again, just chuck in with washing each day
Garden: I use bleach out here coz of cleaning up after the dogs, sometimes a bucket of bleached water brushed over, sometimes a good squirt all over the patio and hozed down
General: Polish - shops own, dusters, VERY SMALL AMOUNT stardrops for cleaning hard floors, cheap windowcleaner and paper towel for windows and mirrors.
Washing: Cheap soap powder, sploge of soda crystals, vinegar for fabric softener

I think that's about it - I know I should use vinegar on windows, etc, but I like my spray - maybe when it's empty... mmmm, there's a thought...

Sarah, love the bling, very pretty, no wonder you are a happy girl...

Right, better go find my list... **wanders of aimlessly coz can't be asked this morning as not had a cuppa yet for some strange unknown reason** - oooh, now off to make a cuppa... anyone else want one?
    LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00

Gosh you're the hoover Queen today Kaz :T

Denise I'd love a cuppa, ta

Glad you feel better Dusty, I had to chuckle at your DS being sent to his room for losing on the Wii I remember doing the same - they used to get so stroppy when playing console games

Oooooh do we have to do lists of what cleaning products we use, yes/no well I'm adding mine just cause I love lists

Flash bathroom cleaner for erm bathroom/cloak toilet
Flash general purpose spray for kitchen
Flash add to water bottle of stuff for paintwork/floors/bedrooms
    Bleach for sinks/toilets
Asda's own window cleaner (it's the best and I've used them all)
    J-cloths for cleaning (throw away ones - I know :o )
    Microfibre cloth for dishes/wiping benches
    kitchen roll for windows/polishing

Don't like Stardrops cause it's not smelly enough, If I'm spending all my time cleaning I want it to at least SMELL like I've done it. Oh and I love Flash products can you tell......I also like the Ecover products too I usually alternate between the two so when the Flash products are finished I'll have stocked up woth the Ecover ones and so on and so forth.

Getting through the list slowly but surely, just waiting of a text back from DD1 to see when we're going out.

I've been lurking this weekend, as aol was messing about and couldn't stay online long enough to post properly. So, :hello: hi to everyone!

sarah - love the bling! Lucky girl, enjoy being spoilt!

Quiet weekend here, as DD over at friend's, and DS2 on Duke of Edinburgh expedition. I have to go and pick him up in an hour or so. They were very lucky to have lovely sunshime this weekend after all the rain last week!

I should be on the allotment, but I'm really flaked out today. May give it a miss, and pop down this afternoon to get a few veggies for the week. Got to clean the bathroom too... ah well, only takes half an hour!

Cleaning stuff? E-cloths, sponge/scrubby things (yellow/green), decent dustpan and brush (I've recently replaced a cheap one OH bought, as all the dust went under the edge, drove me mad).
Windowlene (just the liquid, not an aerosol) for all indoors glass. Windowcleaner swears by Fairy Liquid for outside.
    Stardrops for general washing down.
    Beeswax polish for wood
Flash General purpose lemon for floors, and cloakroom/bathroom
Domestos bleach lemon (don't like the smell of the cheaper versions)
    Soda crystals
    Bicarb of soda
    Fairy antibac washing up liquid
Dettol antibac spray for cleaning areas when anyone ill...and some kind of disinfectant, usually the chapest

Well, that's quite an impressive list for someone who doesn't like housework and isn't very good at it.:D
