Make sure you read the small print and dont end up having to pay extra on the day for CDW (collision damage waiver) or the only 75 miles per day trick .
We have used Carjet every time we go on holiday to Spain and my husband uses them when he is on business and we cannot fault their service or their efficiency. Good luck and enjoy your holiday . x0 -

hi
I have used carjet a few times and have always been upgraded and the free secomd driver can be a good saving. Also last time i took the car back to a different location and wasnt charged any extra which is great.0 -

I've always found Auriga to be good, although I've never booked with them directly. I've ended up with them having booked through Carjet. It seems to be more expensive to book with them directly than through a broker like Carjet. Whenever I'm looking to book car hire in Spain I look at the various site through Google (eg search: "Alicante car hire") and draw up a list of the prices on offer. On nearly every occasion this has resulted in me hiring via Carjet. Avoid anyone who doesn't say that their office is in the terminal building. Many of the others operate from caravan and Transit in the carparks.0 -
I saved £50 by booking with Avis, for car hire in Italy, using the discount code from this site - definately the cheapest deal I could find.0

I will pass on to my daughter the nice comments about carjet! she is the manager in Alicante:p. Carjet are BROKERS for most of the main care companies and negociate a deal with them, that is why they are so much cheaper. With most carhire companies if you damage the car you are responsible. not so with carjet everything is covered except the tyres and obvious damage such as driving off road etc. As for the returning the petrol tank full or empty, this has NOTHING to do with carjet (they do not profit from that)........ but with the individual companies. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0

hi you should try recordrentacar ,they are in a lot of airports in spain and always found them the cheapest ,have tryed carjet and didnt like the service as they go over the car like a fine tooth comb when you bring it back to see any marks on it ,not like record in Gran Canaria you just park the car and give them the keys, not saying I have ever put any on a car but did hire one from carjet and told no marks on car ,but when I pick it up there was a big dent on one of the doors so told them and they did mark it on my form, but when I returned it the girl who came out to check the car went straight to the mark on the door as if I had damaged it and wasn't please to find I had spotted it before I collected it so be warned about this company0

Dan It is absolutely NOT true about carjet "going over the car with a fine tooth comb" I think you have perhaps made a mistake in companies? It is exactly because they don't, they are so popular also the low pricing........and I am sure the other people that have hired through them on this site will verify thisWhen man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0

Another Carjet fan here!
Their prices are fully inclusive of everything except wheels and tyre damage - pay 10EUR at the time of collection and this can be covered too. When I've checked, their prices have been cheaper than the actual (Auriga, Europa, Solmar) web sites. Look out for their 10% off deals. They have one ending Christmas Eve. Mind you, it will probably start again in the New Year. And even if you find their prices go down after you've booked, you can cancel the booking with no penalty and rebook at the new lower price.
As someone said, I don't know how they do it! And I can vouch for the superb service (by Carjet and their suppliers) when things go wrong. We recently hired a car from Alicante and found the air-con wasn't working. Just a brief phone call and it was arranged to change the car at Murcia airport!
And, as someone also said, often we get an upgrade from Clio-size to Focus-size - especially in the off-peak season.
For shorter hires (3/4 days) you can usually avoid the payment for the full tank of petrol by asking for a full-to-full deal.
