Also I don’t know why you only recommend One tel as on mobile overeider as they are charging per minute, rather use https://www.swiftnet.co.uk to override call from Mobiles as they bill per second with no minimum call charge at all!

One-Tel landline customers just need to ring 18866 0r 1899 (Once registered) to get 10p mobile calls from their landline according to FAQs on the above sites; however the harder question is how can you use your one-tel provided mobile to get cheaper mobile to mobile calls from say Telestunt. Anyone know?

  • If i call from my mobile in the uk to another uk registered mobile but they are in the USA the mobile i ring gets charged a large fee every time i call. Does anyone know how not to pay this additional fee?

The only way is to leave the mobile at home I think (the called UK mobile pays the roaming charge - which amounts to the UK to wherever part of the call).

If the costs are significant, enough to need to make a regular saving on, visit http://www.0044.uk.com/namerica.htm and buy a US sim for £40. This will include some outgoing/incoming call credit.

Note that US users pay to receive calls, including roaming users, though the cost reduces to 12p (from around £1 for a UK roamer) per minute.
