Evening all
WMF - those pillow men sound great .... in the absence of anything like the real thing ... oh woe is me
Smokey - pop over to the diy board - they're fantastic for decorating questions
coat shopping was a success - duffle coat from peacocks - very practical (I did bike riding impressions in the shop to make sure it was comfy) and sort of sexy in that it has a fitted style and fairly cheap - £35 - everyone was happy esp. dgs(3) who had really had enough by then.
I asked dgs if he'd made any friends yet at school. he thought about it a bit and said Mrs Baker - anyone else - er Mrs Kirby. I,ve seen his friend making technique in action when the little boy next door popped his head over the fence - "hello boy. you're my friend now. Bye"
dd(19) struggling a bit without bf but holding up. We were out all day and you could just see her droop every now and then. i hope she'll manage to keep him away this time
stay at home dds have really been embracing the Great Let's Help Mum Out a Lot More So She's Nicer To Be With Project. 12yo cleaned the kitchen window and the dining room floor while 23yo hoovered the sofas, washed the cupboard doors and hoovered all through. Then we sat down and watched the last episode of Tess with 12yo dd moaning that it couldn't get worse for poor Tess ...... alas it did and I proper blubbed which cheered the girls up no endI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
