Another Tesco Massive Price Increase

absolutely fuming at Mr T over the weekend.
Wholewheat fusilli twists (500g) used to be around 70-75p. Now they are priced at a whopping £1.39!!!!!!!!
went to Morrison's and got them for 68p. Hmph. I am officially finished with Tesco. ASDA is equally as near as us and I've started shopping there more and more.
Could i suggest you look at the organic wholewheat pasta as it costs 84p for 500g of penne.

m&s is cheaper than tesco and better quality.
tesco for me is now a NO- NO unless deals.0 -
Ok I think I've found the ultimate Tesco ripoff price - I know they are expensive and I hate them but they still managed to genuinely shock me with this one:
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/ProductDetails.aspx?Store=1&Product=18551
340g of sun pat peanut butter for almost THREE POUNDS!!
That's more than 4 times more expensive than Asda's own brand (700g for £1.48). And double anyone else's price (even Waitrose!)0 -
That's a shocking price for peanut butter. I've just checked the link and tried tesco.com but unfortunatly you need to be a member first.
At £3 does this mean there will be an offer at 70% off to make it an offer.0 -
After looking around I bought 3 jars of Asda's own peanut butter at £1.48. I stopped buying it for a while thinking everywhere was the same price as Tesco!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Price in the link is now 1.57. I only ever buy Lidl's Peanut butter, but even that is now 99p!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Tesco's seemed to stop doing own brand peanut butter - the last 2 stores I've been in have ONLY had Sun Pat & Whole Earth (and they both used to carry Tesco brand PB). Total con.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

I've been in 6 Tesco's in Kent with no own brand p/b, I buy Asda's big jar now too.
Nothing beats Tesco putting up the price of sunflower seeds from 45p to £3.11  I only buy reduced to clear or sale items from Tesco's now.0 -
I'm pretty sure sunflower seeds in the world foods section are much cheaper than £3.11 because I made a note to get them from there. Hope that helps.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
