Maybe it's my experiences of people that make me have this view. But years and years of seeing the way others behave meant that this sort of thing didn't surprise me.

It isn't a "gotta have it" thing. I didn't get an original X-Box until September 2004, well after they'd come out. That X-Box has had more use than any other item I've bought, hence the reason I got an X-Box 360. Originally I was more into the PlayStation 2.

If it wasn't for the recent changes to the site rules, I'd identify where I am so you could send the heavies round. :rolleyes:

I don't state anywhere that I think I'm more intelligent than others.

I do state that I had the common sense to preorder back in September, rather than going into a shop on 4th December looking for one.

I don't quite understand the "Mr Customer Services" comment. Although I will say, that after 7 years experience, only around 5% of customers are worth going out of your way for.

Hey, he's pulled them all from sale!! So he either sold all 8 outside of ebay - his listing said he'd take any reasonable offers to close the auction early or perhaps the corresponance people sent to Game paid off and they told him to pull them!
