Be carefull if you enter too many codes it can damage the phone also if your phone was a Voda PAYT they have a second lock on them which is called a GID1 lock.

This has probably been said but hey there are 6 pages of posts for this thread...lol

Unlocking mobiles is easy if you have a Virgin Mobile & wont cost you anything cos as long as you have spent £30 on calls from your mobile ( which you get £35 free calls when you buy one) ring them up & they unlock for you.

My has just spent her hard earned pocket money on a new picture/video phone with '3' network. Un-know to her when she bought it, she has to put in £15+ a month to keep this phone going. Is it possible to un-lock this phone & use a different sim-card? PLZ HELP as she is so disappointed as she wont be able to afford to use it once her £15 runs out.

Yes,you can unlock 2g sims to work on 3g NEC phones

Is it definitely the case that Virgin will unlock one of their PAYG phones as long as £30 of credit has been bought or used?
