seems to be a few people thinking order are not being processed.
the process is as follows - mentioned before a number of times.
order placed (you get order confirmation email) - processing - packaging - processing - shipped (you get order shipped email)
If your order still seems to be processing after a number of days, check that the item was available in stock for 24 hour dispatch ..... it may be that they have run out of stock or you placed an order for something that is 'waiting for stock delivery' - i've done it by mistake  , so check on play.com for stock level info.
HTHI can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
The things I ordered today with the codes quoted - i have no confirmed emails from them BUT the two things i ordered yesterday night i have emails for. So i reckon they have caught onto this.
All they can do is cancel the orders, they will not take Legal action. So i'm not scared in the slightest!! and i work in a Legal related roll....!

Can you explain exactly how it is breaking the law? The terms and conditions of the offer are NOT shown at checkout, and the only way that you can find these is if you received a copy of the voucher yourself.
If (as many here have) you were given the voucher code and told it was £5 off, all you are doing is using a code given to you.
Play are in the wrong here - whilst they are able to cancel the order before it is despatched if the order is sent then they are honoring the contract and by accepting the postage of this item you are doing the same.
What play *could* have done to make sure that they had a leg to stand on would have been to show the terms and conditions of the offer once the voucher code had been entered into the checkout process.
It seems to me that this offer was not correctly arranged and was done in a rush to catch the xmas orders - if they do not find a way of stopping these orders before they are despatched then they stand to lose a LOT of money out of this.0 -

I think you are right in the fact that they would have caught onto this by now, but at present I believe that they are still wondering what on earth to do. I've got email confirmations so the problem is more likely to be an email issue on what you have experienced.0 -

You are not breaking the law.0 -
I just got the following e-mail.
Dear
It has come to our attention that you have used more than one Daily Mirror
Voucher on your account. Contained in the Terms and Conditions is a clause
which states that only one voucher per applicant may be used.
Sadly, with this in mind, we have cancelled any outstanding orders on your
account which have been purchased using a voucher. We do this under clause
11 of the Terms and Conditions which give us the right to refuse any
voucher redemption if we suspect any fraud or malredemption.
Kind Regards

Yes I checked, and it has not be taken from my account.
The order I made on the 29th was packaging all day yesterday, and has been processing all day today. I'm guessing that this is where they find out where they code came from!! So not really expecting anything now
All items were instock, and still are instock (24 hours).
NB: I've ordered 1 game and 2 DVDs.
Update: 1 of the orders i made today is on to processing.0 -

I was too scared to use them. If I hadn't got my £5 voucher from them the other day I may have used some of them, but since Play could not afford to honour all these extra orders what will they do about the orders already sent?
Probably best to order using the codes only if you are prepared to pay the £5 voucher back if they request it, since the codes do say one per applicant and they can easily check your account to see how many you have used.If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' someone else's dog around!0 -
Or what i was thinking, Play maybe have a lot of money to give away with regards to this offer, I reckon a good lot of the money was given by the Daily Mail or whatever paper the offer was in. Maybe they are just running these codes until the money in the kitty runs out. I reckon a lot of people applied for these codes but didn't get them and now this might be away of releasing some of that money. 75000 x £5 they were honouring....just a thought...Envy is the most stupid of vices, for there is no single advantage to be gained from it.:A0
