Play.com - actual £5 voucher codes, they work!

Since any purchases using the codes are fraudulent you won't have any defence if they come knocking on your door. Saying you were not aware of the Terms and Conditions will not do you any good since that is no defence when breaking the law.

When most people check these boards tonight after getting home from work Play is going to be flooded with orders using the codes. They won't be able to cope with the demand and the financial loss and will have to investigate the accounts.

PS. Still too chicken to use any of the codes.

I'm sure some people have already put through hundreds of orders already. Should be obvious what is going on to them by now.

Great stuff if it is correct as i've bought a few of Xmas present and i do feel guilty.

I've ordered what i was gonna purchase anyhow, so if they charge me then they charge me, if not all the better

Yes i agree they will have to investigate somehow what's happened but people can play dumb by saying they were given the code as a gift from someone. All they can do is charge us for the deficit. There's no way they would take legal action, too many people. To be honest it's Play's error for issuing codes that dupilcate....

Re concerns about using the codes: you'll either have to pay the difference, or (more likely) they'll cancel the order and you will have to place it again. Either way, Play are just about the cheapest for most CDs and DVDs so seems pretty low risk to me.

Just ordered a chrimble present - I was gonna order anyway, so if they don't honour, then I'm not bothered, but one has to try!
