Junior has but reckons there's no increase in volume although everything appears to be working okay.

I have a photo folder. Not very impressed though, the photos that got transferred were kinda 'squashed' looking. They also took ages to transfer and froze my player too at one point.

Not sure why you don't have a folder. You're not missing much though.

Maybe an update would help?

Well.....gone from not having photo's to random turnings on of the player...just out of the blue it'll turn itself on, then won't go off so you have to remove battery to rebot it.

Took it back to argo's and they are a deleted item now as they only sell the 6Gb one, they also can't send them for repair, tried to offer me a refund but I refused as I wanted it replaced..."The refund of £99 will not get me a new one will it!" tried in 2 different stores and fingers crossed the last one in the UK it on its way to my local store for me to have! 1 guy even told me they can't replace it as the price has gone up now!!!!!!!! I put him in his place!
Then nearly blagged a new 6Gb one but about 30sec's before it was in my hands a supervisor spotted the "6gb" on the box and took it back

I spent well over an Hr in there today trying to sort it out, and I've lost count of how many times I had to explain its got 1(or 2?) yrs warrenty on it so want it fixed or replaced!

I'll chase them up middle of next week on the replacement.

Anybody got any ideas what I can do if they can't get me a replacement?...should I contact Iriver direct?

wouldnt bother contacting iriver direct i tried that with one i bought from comet early december still waiting for a reply from the email. so unless gonna phone i wouldnt bother. My first player was great could not fault it until wanted to update the songs n pics and pc would not recognise it laptop would pc not. phned comet said there was no fault, to which i replied there was as the pc wont recognise it but he replied that because the laptop did there was no fault, told him i had just sold the laptop so i now have a fault lol anyway got a new one eventually and now i have had to charge the thing 3 times in a week wouldnt mind i only listen to it on the way to work 20 mins a day. i also had to pay £10 extra as the new one was a silver and the old one i had was a web special which i paid nearly £8 for delivery and they not do that anymore so i phoned comet up and played merry he** and they are refunding the deleivery charge but still had to pay the £10 as it was a diff player

I can see the reason for the username now!

So you won't find it online, or in the catalogue. If you are lucky you *may* stumble across one by trying the cat num in an instore stock checker or via C&R:

Probably because the deal was nigh on two months back - that's why reading the OP is always useful.
