iRiver 5GB Mp3 player was £199 now £99

Just a heads up to everyone, the offer ends 7th Dec (this Wed)! I too am looking one but none of the N.I. stores have any in stock, like others have said, most stores are saying stock available from Wed 7th - Sat 10th but if they don't come in on Wednesday then I'll not be able to get one (well I will but they'll be £199).

I went in to one of the stores today that said they'll be available from 7th-10th, typed in the order number on the stock checker and it said it's available Friday 9th so dunno if they're all gonna be Friday!

EDIT: Argh all the stores are now saying available to order for collection from Thu 8th Dec on the online reservation thing - it's a conspiracy I tell ya!

The barcode says: H10 Neo Silver

If you look at the box face on with the iriver showing, then turn it so that the English writing on the right hand side of the box is facing you it will say in the list of features and also in the blurb abou the integrated FM tuner with recording and timer functions...

My one (with tuner) says H10 [5GB color] on the front and H10 Slate gray on the barcode.

Typical, I'm just back from a big Tesco and didn't even think to check the mp3 players would be there. Oh well will have to wait til I'm there again (when they'll probablybe out of stock).

EDIT: Wayhey just reserved one!! followed beadysam's trick of waiting til after midnight and checking again. It's the lounge grey one (the colour I wanted). I'm so pleased!! Thanks beadysam!

Mine wont charge properly and switches off after around 7 or 8 songs.

Just checked with Bubba Junior, he reckons no problems with his. It did seem to charge quite quickly when we first charged it but it's still going from the first charge.

When you say 'won't charge properly' what's actually happening?

It will only charge for around three quarters of an hour and then when it plays, it switches itself off after 7 or 8 songs. When you try to switch it on again, you get a flleting glimpse of the battery dead picture (battery with red line through it) and then it goes dead again.

I've just spent the last hour hunting for the receipt and can't find it.
