Heh well good luck and yes don't give a refund until you have item back.

Even paypal will tell you that.

So , assuming OP stoops to this level and leaves a false neg as a buyer then the original buyer spots the same name and/or address and reports the OP as a malicious bidder and gets the neg removed and the OPs 'buying' account possibly closed down. Once the OP gets their buying account closed down then they can't of course continue to use their selling account..so this action leaves the original buyer with no negative but more importantly leaves the OP with no ebay accounts she can use. I can't see how that helps at all

Or are you suggesting that OP somehow breaks even more rules and opens a fraudulent account in someone elses name?

Good grief, Soolin. You don't half make things complicated.

OP..if she negs you, let me know her ID and I will neg her. Howzat!

  • It gets dafter. Came home this eve to find following from nutty woman.

''Parcel packaged up ready to go first thing Monday given Paypal confirm that I have received my refund from you.
    Regards.''

    I have responded with

''I will refund when I get the item back. Please check our previous communication. Ebay state that refunds should not be given until the item has been returned in the same condition it was sent. If you prefer we can continue this through an ebay dispute, I am more than happy to abide by ebay's guidelines and rules.

    regards''

    when will it end? speechless-smiley-040.giflaughing-smiley-014.gif

    Well, I now have this.

''Your attitude is awful, If I take it to E Bay I will demand a full refund including P&P and settle for nothing less, My alternative is to warn others as to how you treat good E Bayers and what to expect if they buy from you,. As it is it really isnt worth spending any more trouble, but I will tell E bay what I think of sellers who treat people with such disrespect,Your top if I choose the latter will go to the charity shop, I will also iclude in my feedback the fact it smelt badly of damp certainly not clean and pristine.''

    Utter lies..........

Have sent''I am very sorry you feel like that. As you can see from my feedback, this sort of situation simply does not arise. I have read my messages to you and can find no 'disrespect', please let me know what you mean.

Just to clarify, in case I have misunderstood, are you asking me to give a refund before I receive the item back? You also appear in your last message to be threatening to leave false feedback if I do not comply with your wishes. We both know that the item did not smell when you received it. Please see your first message.

I have no problem with an ebay investigation / dispute. I am more than happy to work within their framework and abide by their rules.

    Regards''

Is this feedback extortion yet? Wana nail this once and for all. She's a menace

    Good advice needed, please!
  • Gosh.....she's lost the plot. Well done for keeping calm in your responses.

If she's that bothered why doesn't she just open a dispute?

I would just ignore her from now on and await the dispute - if any.

What is her feedback like that she has left for others?

    Unfortunately that's not feedback extortion.

She sounds like a right nut. From her messages it sounds like she's heading toward an item not as described but will turn it around that the item is not in pristine condition rather than the size issue. Keep all your emails you might be needing them! Good luck and continue to keep calm, you are doing well.

Oh I would say it is and I would politely remind her that with the message she sent you can easily get it removed and that she could possibly get suspended for her troubles.

You can find more info on it here.

  • Well I got a neg. rolleyes.gif

Was kind of expecting it as she would unlikely win a SNAD dispute. She just went on one biggrin.gif

Have left follow up comment and had already asked ebay to look into our messages as I was looking at a neg even though I had offered to refund. Got a bland reply with a suggestion to phone the madwoman up speechless-smiley-040.gif

They also said they had passed on my neg worries to the relevant dept. Quite what good this will do I have no idea, but I have flagged her up as unstable so you never know biggrin.gif

In a way the little red thing came as a relief, I no longer have to deal with silly person. For that I am grateful sport-smiley-001.gif

Anyone checking out my feedback will know the truth biggrin.gif

Thanks for help and lively exchanges!
