Tell her to lose some weight! Perhaps she had too many pies in-between ordering and receiving tshirt??
Any girl knows that sizes vary from shop to shop, so a size 14 from say topshop will be very different to a size 14 from M&S.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I dont think telling her to loose weight will help although its funny hehe. There really isnt alot you can do now us sellers cant leave neg for awkward buyers. i'd just say return and u will refund minus fees and postage its fair enough. I find the cheaper items sell for the more troublesome they are, everyone wants something for nothing i once sold a selection of 35 videos for a £1 and they complained they were not to their taste even though every title was listed and photographed?

I always take the attitude with Ebay that if it's a business selling clothing and it doesn't fit, then I'll email them, ask if they have a different size, I'd pay to return the item and for the new item to be posted out.
For someone to ask an individual seller to take back something that has been accurately listed is more than a bit unfair. Tell her no. Tough! (Politely of course!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I would tell her to !!!!!! off. Its a risk you take when buying off ebay. I just sell the clothes on if they dont fit, its not the sellers fault.
She could of course have a damaged version of the item herself and return the damaged version keeping your nice undamaged one. had this done to me on an £80 item once.0 -

To many negs and you'll be booted off for being a crook, even though it's the customers who are being underhand and abusing the feedback system.
Call her bluff and tell her to send it back recorded.
Ebay's becoming a bit of a minefield..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Thanks for all your advice.
I have sent
''As I am sure you are aware, as an individual seller, not a shop, I am under no obligation to refund because an item does not fit. It was listed correctly as a 14. I am a 14. Whilst 36 is generally seen as a standard 14 size, I do not think that a D cup is and maybe this is why the item fitted me but not you? I suggest that when buying clothes from ebay you ask for more information from the seller before commiting to buy.
On this occasion I am prepared to offer a refund of the selling price, £3.60, if the item is returned in the same perfect, unworn state it was delivered in. Ebay recommend that recorded delivery is used when returning items for refund.
The other alternative is to list it yourself and maybe even make a profit
Please let me know what you decide. ''
Will that do? Will let you know if she turns psycho on me.
Am really fed up of the numpties now. May give it a go for another week or two but if they carry on I may have to leave ebay on mental health grounds
Once again, thanks to you all

Hi Fern,
I think we all assumed it was a 'top' yet from what you say above it sounds as though it is a bra or bikini top with a size of 36D. Is that correct?
Whatever the item was, did it have a label that actually said it was a size 14 or did you guess it was a size 14 as in '36 is approx a 14'?0 -
In the original post she does say that it is a 14 and the buyer agrees that the label on it says 140
