  • Hi All

    Wednesday morning 6.30am

Hope your all well...ok update and its good news.

Monday morning local councillor met with housing department/housing chairman/MsR...councillor said hes never seen anyone move so fast to right a wrong..my eviction order has been quashed and all arrears have been removed from my rent account as a gesture of goodwill and apology and I received a phone call and a personal apology from the council chairman, he said that much to his shame he never realised what was happening within his own housing department an would personally make sure that this would never ever happen again..when I asked about the other lady that had died he said that was all in hand and he would let me knw the outcome of the inquiry he has actioned on both my sisters and that ladies situation .
Now Ms R...we had a face to face with council chairman and myself and the Debt Advisor from CAB yesterday Tuesday. The Rottweiller looked like a poodle till I asked why she had homed in on myself without any reason as I had kept to repayment agreement and did she realise the distress that she caused by her agressive attitude and unsympathetic
ways to people like myself . She erupted like a boil bursting, forgetting where she was she spewed forth, well lets say the Chairman looked like he was going to have a heart attack and the lady taking notes dropped her notebook and said out loud "Oh my god !" thats the first time Ive ever felt scared in the company of a fellow woman, she was awful but it was also like whatever was fuelling her outburst had gone she just crumpled in a heap on the floor crying.
Chairman closed the meeting quickly she was ushered away but before she went she looked over her shoulder and said Im sorry to me, and I think she really was...theres some underlying thing in her life thats made her be horrible so hope now that today might be her first day of her sorting herself out and that she finds something like the help and support she needs....lifes funy last week I hated the site of her, this morning all I can feel is a sad feeling that something/someone had made her life so bad tha she reacted as she had, well for her the only way now is up and deep down I wish her well but I will still be wary of officials etc.
My local councillor said last night there was no need for to behave as she did, but like I said to him we have no idea whats gone on in her life, and must not speculate till he has facts and he can act accordingley but one thing I made clear was whilst I consider she treated me shabbily I didnt want a witchunt on someone that obviously has personal problems and hoped that they didnt make her the scapegoat for the whole bloody mess thats called there Housing Dept as she was only one peice of a bad department.

i didnt post the last couple of days as she shook me up inside, Im ok but Im wondering now has she got support and help now?? or are they going to just let her be bad on her own, my friend who works at the council says they look after there own and that she thinks they have gotten of lightly as I could have caused a real fuss and still could, its done now all I want is closure and the assurance that my tenancy is safe and that MsR finds her peace of mind, Ive been there, its not pleasant .

My old workplace have sent me big bouquet of flowers, the miserly old boss is retiring yahooooo and Im to have my hol pay and wages due to me...so will tell OR and he might let me keep a bit (doubt it) but thats another fight won thanks CLS they have been fantastic.

So whilst I feel good that I have fought council and been heard and sorted, I dont feel like its a victory as someone else has lost something or on a positive thought maybe she can sort herself out and live her life at peace from whatever set her off:confused::confused: .

Soooo life at Wittering Manor is now poised for Lord Wittering to go BR on Nov 12, Im now going to concentrate on that and try and forget the upheaval of the last week.

Thank you all for your help and upbeat support its just good to be able to know that your all here for folks in good times and bad times ( Hugs to all)

    Hi Anne. :)

That's really good news for yourself. I'm so glad that this has been sorted. :D

But I can understand that the way it has happened has taken the shine off that a bit. :undecided

I suppose you just have to think that the problems with this person and the department have now been brought out in a way that the 'powers that be' shouldn't really be able to ignore, and that one way or the other things are going to have to change for this person. Hopefully for the better. Sounds as if something was bound to give one way or the other, and it just happened to be with you.

    All the best.

Great news for you Anne, what a great weight off your mind to know it's settled once and for all.

As for Mrs R, yes it's sad that she has something so big in her life going on, perhaps it's the realisation that she is responsible for the death of 2 people. It must be horrendous to come to that realisation.

Anyway, onwards and upwards my dear (((((((:heart2: )))))))
