I worry, as you do, that without being able to vent our frustrations on here then where would we be?? there are many out there who are driven to the `edge` by actions of organisations such as this...its a worrying thought!!

Hi All,

As others have said, you need to fill out the application notice N244 IMMEDIATELY. You also should be legally aidable so find out who your local housing solicitors are ( ring shelter for this info) If you can prove you have paid in accordance with the sus poss order then then everything will be fine.

It is true that if a poss order is made before BR then whilst the debt is a provable one, the remedy for the landlord against the property remains.

I have just had a scary one that I have to go to court with in a few weeks where the poss order was granted 4 weeks AFTER BR ! Ive applied for a set aside along with our deputy OR, but appeal case law suggests that it makes no difference whether the BR is before or after possession. That goes againt all current debt advice so it will be an important battle.

Am back, right , the CAB and my local councillor helped me fill in the N244 form and its lodged and awaiting a date.

Another lady committed suicide 3 weeks ago, and her family are going guns blaring at the council as she was found when the bailiffs entered her flat to evict her:eek: . The CAB advisor has asked for all the details of my sisters and all her council papers and her last note to me and the coroners report and comments:eek: , the common factor in both cases rent arrears/same council/Ms Rottweiller.... and my tape of our conversation on Thursday where she said " Bloody Bankrupts" "Anne C******(my name) you dont deserve a council tenancy, depression is just an excuse to not pay your rent arrears"

Local councillor is seeing the Chairperson of said council first thing Monday morning he said he was apalled at my treatment and was ashamed to be linked to such bad behaviour within a government body.

Im in the right but whats come to light is awful...this woman is just not fit for her position in my opinion...and if the credit crunch continues she will have more folk coming into her grasp who are in a mess and dont need this kind of treatment at a time when all they need is a kind word and help , sorry for the rant but everytime I think of her she makes me angry.

Glad to have you back here posting. Well at least you have gotten the right people fighting your corner.

Sad to hear about another suicide, it makes you wonder why they give these people power that they obviously should not have as they cannot deal with the public in a dignified fashion. Pleased you have this witch on tape Annie, I hope she gets the SACK! and suffers monetary problems because of it, would not normally wish that on anyone but this woman is hardly a nice human being is she!

Why not its called Kama. I hope she hits rock bottom and keeps digging. Thing is they dont seem to realise

1)its not there money (unlike a small buisness for example).
2) the point of social housing is to help the needy (whoever or however they got into a situation where they need a council property.
3)Mental illness although covered by the Disability Discrimination act, is still seen as a leg pull as they dont see a crutch, plaster or loads of collapsed veins theres nothing wrong with you.


Keep strong Anne and hopefully it will all work out and the rotweiller will get what they deserver. Love the tape recording btw, thats enough to be dismissed In my opinion.

Plus you could always take a civil action against her in the future for mental distress or something (just to put the icing on the cake)

Oh yes a civil action would be an excellent way to go.

I agree on the mental illness bit, and also other illnesses shadow, I have ME, but you cannot see it, it hits at different times, so one day I can be okay and another I need to lay down and sleep, stress makes it worse, but many people dismiss this illness as simply "lazyitis" which I can assure you it is not.

It has ruined my life in many ways, I cannot do my lovely garden the way I used to, or stand cooking marmalade for hours, run on a beach with my son, just simple things, but people like rotwieller dont want to understand those things. They would rather tag people with being lazy, or just wanting a free ride.

And to say what she said about depression, she should be sacked for that comment alone, it is against the discrimination laws I am sure. Depression is a flaming awful illness, bit like migranes and back ache, if you have never had them you have no idea how deliberating they are.

Oh and Annie I would not take an apology from this woman, I would want her sacked!!

Yep - you get her. I don't suffer from depression, but focal migraines. They are scary. Imagine not being able to see or talk coherently due to a flammin headache. Even my family don't understand them as otherwise I am "normal" (in the loosiest sense of the word - LOL!!!) at all other times so not going out to a gathering because of a migraine is a joke to them. For me its all recent and probably pregnancy related - still waiting for a hospital appointment....

This woman is a dog of the female variety. And a stupid cow all rolled into one.


And my last comment Anne. I am very proud of you (again!). You came here a few months ago on your last legs (if I may be so bold as to describe it). The change in your posts has shown a tremendous in attitude and you have not allowed this witch to grind you down, despite the dogs best efforts. I would never had thought about recording the conversation. I would have been arrested for violence instead so I am very impressed by your composure.

I hope your OH has forgiven you enough for the extra mustard to provide the love, hugs and support for you right now. Tell him to hug that bit harder from the rest of us.
