    Hi guys,

    I should have read this thread before i went with Tiscalli!

    I have been with them for years..(about 10), for my internet, so in the summer, when tiscalli sales team phones me, and said, why don't you change over to a package, it will be cheaper...blah blah blah..., so i sign up.
    I got my tv box, and router about 2 weeks ago, everything was fine, till Monday there. My phone did not work, and still not working! so i phone them, using my mobile, i have been past from pillar to post for the past 4 days, everyone says, sorry this is not the dep. you should be phoning, some are saying i should phone BT, i have phoned BT and they said, they have no record, and that tiscali should be phoning them, then i phone back tiscali, and tell them, and they do not know, so i phone my old company, and they said, Tiscalli requested bt to stop my line?!!!I am going round in circles!!!
    Does anyone know what number i should call?
    I have already sent a letter of complaint, but surprise surprise, no reply yet!
    Sorry this has been long, i just don't know what to do.

    Hey guys,

    I've been having similar problems to those encountered, and more.

    for some reason Tiscali stopped taking my DD in April, and ignored 13 emails sent by me to try and resolve the issue. They then cut off my service, and we are now in dispute over getting it reconnected.

    The irony is that they have cut off my phone and internet, and blocked access to my account page on their website. All of these things make it very difficult to manually arrange payment so we are stuck in a bit of a catch 22.

    The only vaguely helpful person I came across was ryan.sadler@uk.tiscali.com - of the high level complaints team. He at least made attempts to solve the problem, but couldn't quite get the concept that I need access to my account page and internet to arrange payment.

    He is at least worth a try.

    I'm now not sure how I can go about cancelling. I'm still in contract until October, and have 3 months unpaid bills (Though I've tried my best - the DD worked fine for 6 motnhs and plenty of money in bank, who have confirme d that no attempt to take the money was made).

    I don't watnt obe left with a bad credit rating or further problems, but I need internet and so need to go elsewhere.... (using work connection now - unfortunatly the Tiscali page is blocked by the filter so can't log onto their website here).

    As any eBid user knows, we've had major problems accessing the site through Tiscali which still hasn't updated it's DNS database - after 8 days!

    Been with Tiscali for almost 4 years with no major problems until this year - but now starting to look around for an alternative.
