More help needed please.. On my posting schedule it says "FREEPOST REPLY SERVICE" and the same on the envelope. Posting type "Response Services." In the envelope there is a bit of paper which says "after checking and recording the information below, please put this insert back inside the test item envelope, before returning it to R I". Does that mean I put in the large grey envelope or the small one for SMART's (as it asks for a SMART to be included)? It just says FREEPOST REPLY SERVICE on the envelope and on the posting schedule. Posting type Response Services. Or should I send it on it's own without an address?
As Scottishlass says just post it as it is, I had the same a few weeks ago just a square envelope with a name and freepost, as far as I know it got there safely.:D

    Hi all,

Signed up to this a few days ago. Got the training pack complete with envelopes and loads of stamps today and have just now received an email saying they have enough people in my area and I'm going in the reserves...

Slightly confused - it says to keep the stationary, does that mean all the stamps as well? If so WOOHOO! Very handy for Christmas. Slightly gutted as looked an easy panel to participate in seeing as I pass several p.o boxes a day on my delivery rounds.
:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin

    Hi there,
I got my first lot today, so have snaffled the stamps ;), got my letters ready, and am now planning register three post boxes (two lone ones and one at my local Post Office) once I have a note of the numbers. I am to post between 1 and last post, I think our last post is 2.15pm so will have to be efficient!
    Will see how this goes.

Hmmmm just now had an email saying there are too many people in my postcode and they will put me on 'reserve'. Wonder if it was something to do with the fact that my last post is 1pm and they wanted me to post between 1pm and last post ?!!?? Hmmm, at least I get to keep the stationery! Island post is a lot different from mainland post- maybe we don't have to be so efficient lol!

I doubt that's the case, one of my postboxes has the last (one and only) post as 11.15, the other is 12 so I make sure I post before that time even if the posting schedule says after 1 or whatever. I checked this with RI first. I know you were only joking when you said about needing to be less efficient but I do think that as services to outlying areas such as ours are becoming less and less efficient then I like to feel I'm at least trying to improve them by taking part in this survey. Hopefully we can get better services then - as you say, postal services in main towns and cities are miles different than in remoter parts. Liz

According to website, next stamp run is in packs for w/c 5th Jan.

Emailed them about this, the lady said they are starting them earlier and you should start receiving them next week outwards.

:D Yes, you can keep all the stationary they sent you and all the stamps. I've done this for quite some time now and really enjoy it. OMG that sounds pretty sad, but I am not. :j

Thanks Liz, I think I was kind of only joking about the last post problem! I suspect there are just enough folks doing it for now.
I suppose there are limits for rural/island post, and tbh our post is generally ok, its just when unexpected things like weather, cancelled planes etc, that its not so good. Lets hope your contribution helps somewhere!

    Hello,
Got my first lot of letters to send today, does anyone know how long the training 'probation' period lasts for? and what happens after it?

Also when do you first start sending/receiving SMARTs?

It lasts about a month, they didn't tell me when I had finished the training period. I just knew I had as a month after I started getting smarts and I got more stamps and you only get one set of stamps in your training period.
