I had a letter to post yesterday 16th March posted it at 10.40. Just had a query saying the post mark is dated the 17th March (today) am i sure that i posted it yesterday. Surely it must be a mistake at the post office who post mark them because how would it get there so quick. Surely commen sense would tell them it is a mistake on the post office and not me.0

Usually the post mark is put on by your local sorting office, not the one which delivered it. That means the postbox might not have been emptied on the 16th.
This morning I realised I'd posted today's letter yesterday by accident - entered the right posting info but I'm sure they will query it!0 -

Thank you for visiting the Royal Mail Monitor website.
Unfortunately, due to a high volume of responses, we are not recruiting to the monitor at this time.
Thanks anyway - loving this site!0 -
How is it time consuming???
It takes me 5 minutes a week to prepare the items, and probably 20 minutes a week to post them, i work, plus have a son to look after, and doing this is no hassle whatsoever
Exactly. It fits around our routine very well!![STRIKE]30:22[/STRIKE]

It can take a fair bit of time, until you get used to what the processes are. There are a fair number of scraps of paper, and relatively little documentation as to what each achieves; it can be confusing.
The most time-consuming bit is probably filling envelopes once a week, which takes 15 minutes or so. I've put two postboxes on my profile, and I tend to go past both on my way either to or from work, so it's not a huge drain of time for me.
It takes me less than five mins to prepare 3 -4 items!![STRIKE]30:22[/STRIKE]
