    Hi there

i am wondering if anyone wants to donate any stamps that they don't want as we can use them to help to pay for postage costs of parcels we send to hospitals. We send knitted and crochet clothing to special care baby units and babies that who sadly don't survive.
Each parcel we send cost us £3.21

All the help we get is some much appreciated,

I got one with an R number written on it (R25**)(not relating to my item received) on Saturday. Maybe it was the same one! The clear bag holding the Smart was quite tatty and had a rip down the side if anyone else gets it! Lets all follow the dodgy smart lol :rotfl:
The Smart I was refering to was R69** but hey, thats a good idea, lets track the dodgy Smarts.:D :D

  • I got the letter (I think it was the same as the email) plus a book of 1st Class and a book of 1st Class Large Letter stamps, on Saturday. I was still receiving items from other customers (with SMARTs) as recently as Wednesday!

But have people received the last stamps we were promised (along with a formal letter of being told we're off the survey) as stated in their email? They said it would be with us in 2 weeks and it's now nearly the 4th week (if we count from 23rd Feb). Instead of these stamps I seem to be getting 'received items' here and there without an R number...

So is it only me or is everyone being deprived of their stamps?

And no, I've had no response about the parcel survey or any other surveys either.

    Kind regards

    Peter

Nothing new there. Today, for example, I've got one item gone in the morning (before 10am), and another going before 7pm; to the same box.

Mind you, I've just got a posting schedule for next week, and it's got my first Saturday posting on it. How exciting!

I think it's a post-office one too, so I'll have to wake up early on the Saturday.

It can take a fair bit of time, until you get used to what the processes are. There are a fair number of scraps of paper, and relatively little documentation as to what each achieves; it can be confusing.

The most time-consuming bit is probably filling envelopes once a week, which takes 15 minutes or so. I've put two postboxes on my profile, and I tend to go past both on my way either to or from work, so it's not a huge drain of time for me.

  • It doesn't take that long, about 5 mins a day to log online any new post, 20-30 mins a week to post any (but it does say you don't HAVE to do the times stated!) & about 10-15 mins a week to sort out the items to post.

I agree with princessmoneysaver that it is not too time consuming once you have come to grips with what is eanted.

The following are from the FAQ about time/place of posting but I think that if you never post at the place/time on the schedule, you are not really helping the survey.

    35. The schedule has asked me to post at a time I can not make what do I do?

Please do not worry if you can not post at exactly the right time or at exactly the right posting point as long as the posting point you do post from is on your list of postboxes and you ensure you tell us which box you actually used.

The time of posting and the posting point is not as important as ensuring the item is posted on the day it needs to be and before the last collection time for that box.

Please ensure you always post from within your postcode area.

    9. When do I post my test items?

Post them before the latest collection time at your chosen post-box. If you are unable to post before the latest collection time then please post them on the same day of the following week before latest collection time at your chosen post-box.
